I was doing that last night. I have 1.5.12 running on a 233MMX Pentium laptop, and it crawls. I can have 3 tabs at most open at a time or the machine basically stops running. I only have 48MB RAM which doesn't help matters much. I'd give my left mouse button for a better stripped down version.
His point is you can't always get to a live power source for the charger to work. A second battery works in an emergency and is portable, but a charger is not.
Golden Palace.com must be the confidential one. Why gamble about going to the moon, when you can gamble ON the moon?
Although, since they sponsored the failed Da Vinci Project that was supposed to launch from Kindersley, SK, I don't have much faith in their ability to pick a winner.
At the Vista launch event in my city, I handed out a handful of Ubuntu CDs to the crowd of IT people. About 3 people I approached already had it, or another Linux distribution running at home. And nearly all said they were not considering Vista for their workplace "until at least SP1".
It's tough being able to hear. Unlike many of my peers, I'm not going deaf, and so going to a bar is painful, since I haven't spent years ruining my hearing like they have. Yes I'm old, but their ears are older, and they wouldn't need it up so loud if they'd cared for their ears like I have done for mine.
I try to congratulate DJs that don't cross the pain threshold with their volume level. There are even some restaurants like Boston Pizza in some locations, that play their music loud enough to damage hearing after not a long exposure.

I'm afraid I must confirm your theory. I've been ten for over ten years now. And I've been blogging for 5 of those years.

"Ok . . my head just exploded."
Should have worn a foil hat then.

Is that a chemical reaction to your ear wax? Maybe it's the coating on the plugs though.

At the TLt school and library techs IT Summit in Saskatoon last week, I picked up a free Software for Starving Students CD full of OSS goodies.

My goodness, it's just like reverse pregnancy - the pain comes at the beginning, and ends with sex!
Same with the MS plugin, the pain starts right away, and ends with you getting screwed out of your freedom.
I think the concrete theory is most plausible from what I've heard so far. It's a lot easier to pour a pyramid than lift formed rocks.
I already tried that earlier today, so if anyone deserves the +5 Redundant, it's you.
I bow to the new UID master...
"You suck."
But I still have a lower Slashdot ID number than you do. Suck my python on a plane.
I depend on Slashdot to give me a summary of the daily funny on April 1st. I'm lonely, don't make them take that away from me!
I just saw Slashdottit malfunction, and discovered the largest prime number known to man. I'm not telling you what it is though!
Unmastered versions are popular too with retro fans. It's better to experience unmastered than the demastered remasters.
They are using inferior tin instead of aluminum. And one of the photos clearly demonstrates that it's a rip off of my Pet Foil Hat Technology.
Judge for yourself.
"by the way, whatever happened to Kuro5hin.org?"
They got hosting space in Iran instead. Axis of Evil Hosting has very little downtime, until the States invade.
"Guess you're gonna have to stick with dial-up."
SHIT!
I could sit on the Internet all day now!
And even better, my rural home has a toilet, so it ought to get broadband now! I just hope it's septic tank compatible.
Mmmmmore Mmmmoore.
Anderson is a little stuck up anyway, it's time the franchise moved on to someone better.
"I cannot wait to tell my boss what I did with his last memo."
I've gotta tell my boss to hurry up with their memo writing, I HAVE TO GO!
"Just an excuse to be a lying asshole and get away with it. Much like alcohol, or drugs."
But without the hang over, or jail time!
Thank you Slashdot for providing a safe and effective fix!
