    Maintenance - The act of repairing something that's totally jacked up.

    I'm a laid off Network Engineer with a CCNA. I couldn't get shit so I mooched unemployment for all it was worth and got a job as an automobile mechanic. Thankfully I had formal education in both fields. I was so sick of the IT world, I'm just glad I had a backup plan.

    I think it just sounds good. It's one of those things that would sound good yelled at someone's face while they squabble at the mercy of their own stupidity. Most of us know it's not proper english and I think that's the point. It wouldn't be as funny if "YOU FAIL IT!" was all the sudden "YOU HAVE FAILED!". But to answer your original question, I think it's #2.

    ..is using both hands. It so happens to be the case that if you're engaged with an enemy in close quarters combat, when you have both hands on your weapon you're probably in control of the situation and if you have one hand on your weapon you're probably running or firing blindly and hitting nothing but air. A simple remedy to this is to get a grip and put both hands on your weapon and attempt to take CONTROL of the situation. Hence, gun control is using both hands. I know it sounds funny but there's truth behind it.

    Maybe I'm just old fashioned or going out on a limb. But, if you can't predict natural weather what makes you think you can control artificial weather?

    It's highly plausible. On average, a storm's precipitation is only a small percentage of it's water content. Given silver iodide's characteristics to rapidly accelerate the formation of water droplets even in the absence of conditions warranting precipitation, if you put it in a cloud you will get precipitation very quickly.

    I will enlighten you. In the Midwest there exists a tornado corridor caled the plains where a lack of a geographical divide(mountains) permits two jet streams to collide causing tornadoes on a regular basis. There is no other place like it in the world. Yes, tornadoes can and do happen elsewhere! But all others will be bested by the US of A's tornado laden region.

    Wind power isn't about being perfect or a primary source of energy. Wind power is just a supplement and will stay a supplement due to it's unpredictable output characteristics. You need to look at the big picture with wind power. It's not about how much it can contribute in a day, it's about how much it can contribute over a year's time.
