Okay. This post by SunPin is basically a copy and paste from a previous post in this same discussion thread. See here to see what I mean. The first comment was modded Insightful, and this guy gets almost the same score for pretty much C&Ping something?
"People that go to ivory league schools that live in trailers are a very low population, lets say 1% so since there are 99% of the people living in houses then you can clearly see that people that live in trailers are stupid, when compared to they're counter parts. Or put it this way, any finite number divided by infinity results in a number so small it does not exists. So any people that live in trailers that go to ivory league school you meet in passing are just figments of your imagination. Point is if you like Macintosh use it, if you don't then well don't use it."
Wow. With all the spelling errors, I bet he's never going to even see an ivy league school, or their counterparts. =(
"So that it's easier to distinguish between a working PC and a dead one by whether or not the login screen is showing, we turned off the screensaver..."
Well, if the PC is working, the screensaver will show. If the PC is dead, no screensaver will show. So... why turn it off?
Lol. Sounds like something he'd say. I know this is offtopic, but if you wanna see more of the Iraqi Information Minister denying EVERYTHING, check out WeLoveTheIraqiInformationMinister.com. It's a pretty funny site.:)
"Of course, they want copies of the changes, but the program is FREE."
Okay, sure, it might be free to obtain a copy of the source or whatever, but Microsoft STILL makes a profit on it, since they receive a royalty on all copies of Windows CE that are distributed.
"Microsoft expects the alterer to license the new version back to itself, for free, for incorporation into future versions. But if it is altered to work particularly in one device, with "value-added engineering," the modifier retains ownership of the changed portions, although it must sublicense a copy to Microsoft."
Now that right there sounds like one fucking lazy way of getting people to code shit for you. Plus another way to use OTHER PEOPLE'S ideas.
"We have a process in which to 'listen to the damn people.' It's called elections."
And how many people do you think were 'heard' wrong in the 2000 elections? Because Florida couldn't get their shit together, we had one fucked election. Even those can't be totally trusted.

"If I had $25K to do whatever I wanted with, I would have to obviously give half of the money to my parents. Obviously my parents deserve at least half for the support, financially, mentally, and physically that they have giving me over the years. Then, I would have to save some money for school, just a little, and with the money I have left, I would either travel back to my homeland, or lift my Jeep even more. I figure having a huge jeep makes it original and makes me happy. I love going off road and having too much money invested into my hobby. My hobby is what sets me apart from everyone else. I love my jeep and it loves me back, now I'm not a psycho that thinks my car talks back to me or anything, but it does! So pick me and you'll see the biggest Jeep in the northwest!"
Either this is a retard with a vehicle, or someone is going to great lengths to make up for something else...
Why do we need "one interface/desktop/office suite to rule them all"? What ever happened to competition? If both sides, (Windows and Linux, especially Windows), produced software and such that worked without crashing except for a few times, then you'd think that people would use whichever side they liked. But, since Linux isn't as easy to use as Windows, interface wise, it's a shame more people won't try it. And since Bill Gates is such a greedy assclown... well, I guess a lot of people will be stuck with Windows in some manner.:(

Holy fuck man, that shit is hilarious! I'm so glad I read Slashdot tonight! Rofl!
That's like asking someone if they object to having SARS. Of course they object!
Rofl. One of the funniest posts I've seen. =)
LOL. Nice quote.

Either that, or it'll stand up in the form of a penis enlargement ad. Then you'd be a real dickhead. :P
"The program offers "close to 100 percent" of CE's source code, excluding only code that Microsoft licenses from other companies. "
Unless you're talking about the entire source that Microsoft itself owns, and NOT the licensed parts, then I shall hush now.Yes, it is the basis for open source software. But anything from Microsoft is not 100% open source, and does not need/deserve to be called as such.

I'd give you a D as well for spelling 'grammar' incorrectly in your comment title. ;P
Sure it is... And the lube that the federal government is placing on your anus before they completely buttfuck you.
Sir, we need you to step into this quarantine chamber. We believe you may be carrying SARS. ;P

You used 'ass clown' and 'asshat' in the same post. I salute you, good sir. (-__-)/)

Nothing will work perfectly. Don't expect it to.
...they'll just ask you "Would you like to play a game?" before starting thermonuclear war with Russia. ;P
