I played on servers that had too many people. I think more than 10 is too many for the size maps that they have. With that many people I had serious lag. I tried a server with 5 people and it was fine.

The problem in 1978 was not that we did not have any more oil in the ground, it was because the US oil production could not match the demand. The US became dependent on foreign oil at that point. That point is called Hubbert's Peak(the point where oil demand surpasses production). The amount of oil that we pump out of the ground is about the same amount of oil that we discover only delayed. The amount of oil discovered in the US reached it's peak in the 30's or so according to that graph.

According to this graph Saudi Arabian oil discovery hit it's peak in the 50's. That means that the Saudis will be reaching their oil production peak pretty soon.

All of this is summed up in a great book by a Caltech professor called Out of Gas. I highly recommend the book.

With all of this said, my next car will be a biodiesel.

Better than a prius is just get a diesel car and convert it to a biodiesel(SVO). Then you can run your car on grease. You can get a good diesel for much less than the prius and use the extra cash to mod the car up. Plus biodiesels are not burning a gas that is harmful to the enviornment and can be refueled at any fast food resuraunt around. There are more of those than gas stations. Or you can run on an unmodified diesel car and make biodiesel. More about running a car on cleaner burning straight vegtable oil at Greaseworks .

Do you have ANY idea the number of features in OSX that FIRST appeared in a MS OS?

No. I'm guessing that you don't either.

We could even mention Chrome and other things from the MS research lab that SOMEHOW made it into the OSX Window Manager, even though Microsoft never released the product officially.

You obviously know a lot about what microsoft does in it's research labs. I would appreciate some details. I cannot accept what you say just because you think it so. A link would help.

I know OSX has some great innovative ideas and technologies, but I serious doubt that MS's multi-billion dollar research facility is set up to just disassemble Apple's work.

For all you know they very well could do this. As a matter of fact there is evidence to suggest that there is at least one group at microsoft that does this (just look at microsoft rendering their desktop in 3d in longhorn the same way panther does now). You're not bringing anything new to light. Kinda sounds like you're trying to see if your conspiracy theories have any merits to them. If they are all facts please drench me in details.
