    What do you mean is it ready? I'd say it is, by a longshot. It's simple really. When you've got joe sixpack downloading a 800Mb movie 2 to ad infinitum times over a week trying to get the copy that actually *is* the movie advertised, lets say this could only improve the state of things on the net.

    submitter is confused
    The article says "92% of web searchers" not 92% of the respondents.....

    92% of What
    The survey said 92% of web searchers. Not 92% of the survey population.

    Statistical Problem
    The way that is phrased would indicate to me that it was 92% of those surveyed

    Yikes. I probably wouldn't post anything else for a long while submitter - the wolves are definately out tonight!

    Has it ever occured that due to information overload on the Internet that people now speed read just about everything they see? I do, and had to re-read your comment again just to to see the second 'to'. ;)

    Close, but does anyone not realize the iron clad contracts M$ makes companies sign when your volume licensing Windows/Servers etc? I've never seen them - but that has got to be one of the reasons.

    Anyone stopped to think that maybe the cronies at m$ might be watching those eBay auctions and purposely inflating the price to astronimical levels for 2 reasons:

    1. Hey it gets a front page on Slashdot, therefore, this game ROCKS!
    2. The buyer most likely won't pay up and its just wasted time, because by the time the auction ends, the games going to be out there in full force anyways...

    In order to attract interest, the company launched a 3-Gigabyte free email service a little over a month ago and since then has signed up more than 36 million users...

    Another alternative is, of course, to post it on Slashdot. But the question that lingers, is how in the hell did a little unknown magazine end up signing up 36 million people?

    Now I'm not a biker myself, but you'd think with that many e-mail addresses from this company I'd of seen it once or twice working in tech support...
