Funny you mention that. I also bought a Linksys WRT54G (aka Cisco) with probably the same rebate you had. I waited months and finally got a response back - rebate denied. Apparently the form was not the correct form (I found this out by calling linksys when I got this). What the response actually said was no UPC code included.
So, after waiting months, then having to make a phone call and waiting on the phone for a good 20 min plus being transfered 2-3 times, I finally got the rebate check about 3 weeks later.
What this tells me is that most folks will not go to the trouble of calling, and that means Cisco wins.
If this contract expires in 2006, then I'd say I'm not going to be buying an xm radio system any time soon. Increases like that would either have to be passed on or xm would go tits up.

I don't want to buy a mac, I want to buy a copy of OS X that will run on my current hardware. When's that going to be available?

The only reason I don't use Linux for photos is that there is no version of Breeze Browser for Linux (or even macs).
Breeze Browser will allow you to do Lossless Auto Rotation on your photos.
For those of you not in the know, many digital cameras have orientation sensors so the camera knows if it is being held in portrait or landscape orientation. The camera writes this plus a whole lot of other information to the EXIF header information. Breezebrowser uses this to auto-rotate the photos and save them losslessly.
If we could get image magick to do this, I would be able to run linux on my computer and be much happier.

Seth Able High Fives you as you leave the bar.
What I want is Trade Wars to come back. Talk about a fun game. Just hope you start playing the day the game is started.
Can the same be said for editors/readers of slashdot? .... broadcasting from an Apple Dual G5
1.0.7 is the current stable release. 1.5 is beta.

Too bad they won't follow Apple and put a Unix or *nix backend to their nasty OS.
I blame Microsoft! Really, I do!

They're now so busy figguring out if they could that they are forgetting to figgure out if they should.

No, it's good because the downloads cost $0.02 per Mb...
I know I've been using firefox for over 100 days (I think i jumped on the bandwagon around the .4 release)
Do ya think?
There isn't what I would call a lot of cooling in the mac mini...
No, That was a direct quote from the article.
Keep Firing, Assholes!
No, my guess they are all Christmas Shopping... Probably at a website, there's no way the average /. reader is going to go to a mall.
The picture of the Loon is actually your photo!
The article mentioned this thing having a Seagate 10Gig Hard drive... I didn't see anything about a flash drive?
