According to the road map, Sync is listed under tems to resolve before a 2.0 release. If it were me, I'd be putting that higher on the priority list. Most people sync with a Palm or other type of device.
That's for sure... I just upgraded to a Radeon 9600 XT from that Intel built in junk... lets just say it was a hell of an improvement playing Americas Army.

This whole limit of computers is kind of redundant if they let you burn audio cd's. Aren't most people burning an audio cd, and then ripping to MP3 from there?

Scores of people, however are putting in a smaller CF card or older microdrive in the Muvo^2. This is generally a digital photographer who has a bunch of these cards anyway, and with a 4gb one, their old 256 lexar or 340 ibm microdrive can be spared.
So, for $199 people are getting a 340mb muvo2 and a 4gb microdrive. Much less than the cost of a 4gb microdrive retail (~$500)
The ones out of the Ipod Mini have a very large barcode and so far there has not been a single documented case of that microdrive working in any digital camera anywhere.
If you can provide a link to instructions on how to get the ipod mini's microdrive to work in other devices, you will be my new best friend!

The price of Compact Flash really took a nose dive in the last month. You can now get a Sandisk Ultra II 1 GB solid state card for under $100.
They do have the material, carbon nano tubes. They just can't be made to the length needed, yet. They have ideas on how to avoid the space junk.
According to the Space Elevator Book it will only take ~ 5 Billion to build the first one. After their IPO, they can afford it!
