Interesting, as I am in the targeted demographic. I'm below 45 years of age. (Step-Grandkids)
As far as how many games I own for the console, at the moment I own all but 3. I am not really into FPS games on console (PC still wins that market in my eyes), yet I will be getting Titanfall on it.
I use the Kinect rather heavily. As I use my XBox One as a media center more than a game system, the Kinect plays a large role in my usage. I like not needing to find a remote control to do anything with my setup.
Also, with Skype I am able to see my grand children, as they have an XBox One as well. The ease of use is such that even my wife, who is not a geek, is able to utilize the system.
Now, could they have sold it as an add-on, or as a bundle option. Yup.
I actually spent the time to read most of the thread. Clicked through for some time reading the back and forth..
I have come to a simple conclusion..
Linus and Sarah would be amazing in bed together. Because the crazy is just amazing.
TMobile - What kind of phone do you have? Me - I-Mate SP3 TMobile - We don't support that phone. Me - oh, sorry. It's a TMobile SDA. TMobile - You just said it was a... Me - I know I know. Close enough, anyways.
If the SIM card works in the phone, they can't stop you from using it.
Microsoft runs at least three different email systems.
1. Corp. Email
2. Hotmail
3. MSN
So just because they create Windows, wich is known for spam zombies, you will see from a service provider view point, they are just as harmed by this as any other Email Service.
I for one, and glad that this happened, for it could open doors for other ISPs and Email Services to stand up and sue spammers.
Yes, yes, it is the end user who has to suffer. Those spams use resources and cost your ISP money also. If the ISPs start cracking down on this, then it may actually end with a solution that will at least let us all actually use our email.
From my own knowledge of running a recording studio, in my home, build sound rooms, that the computer is not in. They also have panels that you can use for this, and in the long run, it is cheaper then that hush system.
I just relized how pathic this troll has made me become. Some one who has the power, please delete my responses to him. I withdraw, let him win in his little mind.
Commodore 64s used your TV set for a monitor. But what your thinking can be done on a normal computer even today.
Just set the refresh rate so high that your monitor will pop. But, this is still not the *computer*.
Thanks to the new BIOS's we have though, I don't think it would be to hard to write something that can control fan speed. Or how about something that will park the heads on the platter of the hard drive, yet still keep it spinning. Or turn on the write portion of a CD Burner with out spinning the disc.
Idea's for virii I have had in the past, but refuse to write.
This has been a tactic of many companies over the years, the only thing different about this is the fact that some of the patents that MS is getting approved have prior art conflicts.
Thanks to the market being swamped, the head hunters have started to turn against not only the possable employee, but against the company looking for the recruit. I have seen, and been on the recieving end many times of a head hunter saying that I had a job, just to find out they gave it to some one else. Once, I even got a call from the company I was going to be working for, and they asked why *I* turned them down.
Don't trust a head hunter, there is a reason they are called that.

Just my two cents.

Guess that's what happens online with alot of people, they lose their balls and have to hide.
By the way, come to Seattle, meet my current girlfriend, so she can kick your ass.

I think I spelt that wrong, but it should be close enough for you to find it if you are truely that desperate.

I think I just have proven that I am either old, or a geek. Probably both.

Really. Remember Rockefeller? Even after conviction, the company was filing patents. Again, nothing new.

From my understanding, with lack of sleep on top of it, 4gb is the theoretical max the current line of consumer motherboards can have.
