End to end IPv6 might be good for people that know what they are doing , but in my limited experience i have found one of the best ways to protect uneducated people from themselves is via NAT.
Nice little linux box to keep all the nastys away, and have their Windows box behind it, rest of the time everything just works.

... This is *exactly* what happens here in Australia , except you might want to replace all instances of BT , with Telstra ( the Australian equivilent ).

I was thinking about this today. everyone complains that there isnt *Insert Random Program HERE* available for Linux, isnt part of the problem that most code being written isnt portable? eg its too dependant on specific libraries.
I cant write code myself, so obviously there is a lot that i dont know. But is it really that hard to write code that is portable?
