Its not that they human body needs silver like it does iron or copper, its because silver is a natural antiseptic. Silver kills bacteria. It was a good property in silverware. Some of the best water filters are made out of silver impregnated ceramic. Silver does promote health but, only in the same way that antibiotics, rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide does.
Seeing how the BART cops were trying to confiscate cell phone cameras of onlookers that took pictures of BART cop Johannes Mehserle murdering Oscar Grant who was handcuffed on the ground. If those people with cell phone cameras were not there Johannes Mehserle would not be getting charged with murder. The thin blue line would be covering up the murder and claim that Oscar Grant was resisting arrest. As far as I am concern all of the cops that were confiscating phones should also be tried for accessory to murder after the fact. Right now cameras used by citizens seem to be the only effective means of stopping police brutality. Legislating that phones click will have a chilling effect on citizens exposing police brutality. Perverts will just use a normal camera or old cell phone to do what they want to do.
At one point a had a password with a company that was " sucks" where competitor was the competitors name. The company in question dropped "sucks" off of my password. Pretty sure it was a customer service rep. Probably because she was an uppity bitch.
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
I disagree with the thought that Bill Gates does not understand that a computer needs to be rebooted to load a dll. He's actually been a big advocate if it not having to. Stuff like this shows that http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa468718.aspx. Not just apps but drivers too. With the direction that microsoft is going with a more modular NT kernel you shouldn't have to reboot short of a updates to the NT kernel. Of course they are sucking pretty hard on the whole implementation part. Minimal rebooting has been a reality for years with linux. I can update major system on linux without an update. I can even compile new kernel modules and load them without needing to reboot. Why does Moviemake need to reboot the machine, its an application, it shouldn't be touching the kernel or low level libraries. Even if it interfaces with explorer.exe that is only a shell, not the kernel.
A PhD in IT is not all that common. If you work for an academic organization it would carry more weight but a masters is likely the most that would be needed. The time and money spend on a PhD and maybe even masters could likely be better spent on more specific training.
That is the exact point of the article that I lost faith in the author. Even the most ardent Microsoft fanboy knows that XP is a far better choice that Vista on current $450 hardware.
How can copper really be that worth while to take/steal? I just bought a 250ft spool of 12/2 romex wire for like $70. Thats boils down to the retail price of $0.09 a foot for 750 feet of 12 gauge wire. Telephone wire is more like 24 gauge so not nearly as thick. I can't see how even a 200 foot run of recycled telephone wire would be worth more than $5 as scrap.
The biggest advantage of two monitors over one big monitor is that you can quickly maximize a program to fill up one screen and still have room for the second one. This doesn't sound like much but if you do that on a single big wide screen you need to drag the window to the size you want. Like having a DVR or a GPS system its something that you don't see the need for until you have it. I currently have to 20" LCDs at home running at 1600x1200 and love it. I just wish Nvidia and ATI are not making triple or quad monitor gaming cards right now. Likely when the price on the 24" widescreesn comes down a bit more I'll pick up one of those at my center monitor and get a matrox device to split the two off the second port of my dual port card.
I think that was Microsoft's plan. The last time I looked at Microsoft's Vista upgrade path they stated you could not upgrade from 64bit XP to Vista. Required a complete reinstall.
I seen 2.5" SCSI drive in some Dell blades 6 months ago so if the technology is go enough for servers I would assume it should do well in laptops, except battery sucking issue of course.
Attached is working exploits for 832 different new vulnerabilities in Microsoft Vista and IE7. Please send me my check for $8,320,000.

Sorry, I gotta back up Mr Old-School. While it may not be the correct term I've seen CPU used to describe "the box" for at least 10+ years, mostly on network diagrams. So we are stuck with it in some form, just like the intertubes...
Can you sight the law that says this is illegal? I've never heard of a federal law and my state doesn't require seatbelt use for adults.

Would I also be banned if my screen name was heterosexual-bob? If so, its fair. If not then they are homophobic.
You forgot to tell a joke with humor in it.
Seagate does not own Western Digital. You are likely thinking of Maxtor.

If I'm not mistaken EVGA farms out there motherboards to Foxconn who historically has had a bad rep and doesn't bother supporting linux. Buyer beware.
I'm betting www.jabber.org will be echoed over and over in the responses. Considering Google uses it to power Gtalk I say its scalable.

Not surprised, The UK is currently full of spineless pussies willing to give up their rights.

I got tired of dealing with the MBR issues with dual booting. Ever since I went to two separate hard drives I've been much happier.

However, I bet users spend at least 50% of there time in the application using this text box...
Not until ATI puts out decent linux drivers. I hear they are improving though.
"CPUs are fast enough now for the average user" And then Vista came out...

Might not have been install but rather launched from a usb stick.
