I don't know about Australia, but here in Washington State, we use dams for hydro-electricity... having recycled water won't get rid of dams anytime soon.
If the speech isn't one place, it will be another. If it's not on the internet, than it will be on the streets. If anything, it will make the extremists that spew these messages to become even MORE extreme. How does this help anything?
Free speech is in place to protect the minority from the majority, not the other way around.
I predict they will have a hat or helmet type of device that somehow can link up with your brain to transport you in to the game, giving you the ability to touch, smell, see, and BE inside the game as if it were an alternate reality. Games will no longer have 'controls,' as your mind will be the ultimate gaming device in the future.

In other news, it has been reported by some anonymous sources that Apple and the Recording Industry Association of America (also known as the RIAA) have banded together for a "Sue the Planet" campaign. Apple will apparently be first targeting those who are proliferating 'FairPlay' over P2P networks.
What ever happened to video games being... video games. Since when did they start having some grand meaning or statement? Video games aren't "evolving" in to anything. I hardly believe that valve was thinking about civil and economic liberty when they started creating Half-Life 2. Now, if we were talking about Kingpin, I guess I could see that. Or maybe that game was just about being as bloody and violent as possible, as to attract more buyers.
This is ridiculous. Let's not turn water in to wine here.
I don't know about this article, but I wouldn't have failed history if I hadn't been playing Battlefield: 1942 and Desert Combat while I should have been working on my research paper. Multitask my ass. If only I could use my keyboard/mouse while browsing an encyclopedia for sources and pondering my thesis statement. Now that's multitasking that's useful.
Did that surveillance video of the mail boy getting tackled remind anybody of Terry Tate: Office Linebacker? It's almost a straight out copy of Terry Tate's impressive technique.

Bill Gates is a good guy. He does a lot for the city of Seattle, the state of Washington, and people around the world. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation do quite a lot. Five point five billion dollars in grants. Take a little stroll through that list of who got grants.
Now, tell me what Bill Gates is not honerable. It disgusts me to see him get constantly flamed. Look at Borg Bill on/.
Yes, he does have a lot of money BUT he does put some if it to good causes.
