    [ ] The Donald - Exaggerating bullshit artist who will deliver status quo (after hiring help), leaning ? (talks right, does left)
    [ ] A Circus - multiple 3rd party candidates all jump in the race and the election is a free-for-all, winner will deliver status quo...


    The biggest issue is who gets to nominate the next few Supreme Court justices... Hillary will be left, but tough to get thru the Senate, so maybe moderate. Trump will be more moderate straight-up, so maybe the results are the same either way.

    Wait, did I just imply the election means nothing? (in results)

    But a Trump victory would at least shake up the "establishment"... (but I wouldn't be surprised by the Circus scenario before November.)

    Alas, sometimes you can't re-use (or even use logical variations) due to the retarded disparity in password policies (required characters for some sites are forbidden on others...).

    The worst are the sites that make you have such a complicated password there is no way you can remember it.

    My password "cheat sheet" purposely has typos in them, and don't explicitly say what they go to.

    My memory is good enough to know them by heart most of the time, but for some seldom used ones, just looking at my notes is enough to remind ME. I wouldn't want to have someone take my crib notes, but the casual burglar isn't likely to be sober long enough or be patient enough to try and figure out my mess-o-letters.

    (oh, and it is in an encrypted .docx file, not printed on paper.)

    The legislature can't make something legal to consume being in your blood illegal to drive unless they can demonstrate that it impairs your ability to drive.

    I don't see why not. They can make up any rules they want for the privilege of driving...
    Have to pass tests with arbitrary questions about laws, not driving skill (what does that color curb mean?)
    Have to be a certain age (why not a year lower, or higher)
    Have to have your papers in order
    etc.

    If it is not based on sex, race, creed, etc... it is not protected.

    If it comes down to Hillary or The Donald, I think the lessor of two evils is The Donald, simply because his unfiltered rants are preferable to the shrill non-answers given by the consummate politician.

    In truth, the results will be pretty much the same either way, so for me it comes down to who's press conferences I'd rather hear for the next 4 years. (Or less, Hillary could stroke out at any time, and Trump could just say "fuck it", so it will be interesting to see who the veeps are...)

  16. I bought a set of $6 LED bulbs at Costco to replace the 6 can lights in my kitchen.

    These "75w" equivalent are so much brighter than the incandescents they replaced, we keep them dimmed all the time.

    Based on the ridiculous California electric rates, my ROI is something like 9 months (since my wife doesn't seem to know that the switch can be put in the off position...)

    Wow - and you can store them on a cloud drive, or so it seems from the promo video. And they can fall to pieces, and self-reassemble! (and some sort of warp-drive-ish stealth technology!)

    Seriously, seems pretty cool for the price. Just a couple of problems...
    a) the smart phone app, probably won't pass security, just guessing, at that price it wants to phone home marketing data... (could be wrong)
    b) why are they so interested in the wee willy of that greek looking statue? ('course that fits right in with a middle east deployment...)
    c) "R/C distance is about 15m" - whaaa, waaaa... (limited useful range, but better than sticking your head around the corner, I guess)
