Thanks, must admit i've never used their Linux client. Always seems I already have an app which can display the files on Linux so never found the need to do so.

Its not offtopic and you are wrong. The issue is not with 'early versions of RealPlayer' the issue is with the horrific and unnecessary baggage which traditionally comes with any RealPlayer install to date. If you don't understand then go and educate yourself.

  6. Re:Just how much better is it? on Tabula Rasa Goes Live · · Score: 1

Agreed. I played the beta for the last couple of weeks. Levelled a couple of characters up to 15 or so. Noticed the game wasn't really broadening out very much and that I had now seen pretty much all of the newbie content twice. Noticed that the costuming was very samey and you couldn't really tell the difference between one person and another. Noticed that the tradeskill system was very simplistic and boring. Noticed that to have such a combat orientated game where all the players are basically on the same side seemed to be a bit of a waste. This game has major issues. It has not just been issued early with a few too many bugs and not a lot of attention to balancing. It is fundamentally flawed in many different ways and I just can't see any way in which it can possibly be saved. As the old saying goes - you can polish a turd as much as you like but its still a turd.

Jane Austen rules. I literally luaghed out loud to the first few pages of Persuasion, and after that it just gets better as the complexity of the plot sets in.

I was just thinking that had to be one of the stupidest statements I had ever heard, thanks for pointing out the flaw which somehow eluded the OP.

Well I have RTFA and I still think the OP is a perfectly reasonable question. I'm reading about this on /. to hear other opinions rather than just the original article and if anyone has first hand experience of this then I would be glad to hear about it. I've been pretty happy with Gmail because its very convenient but if Yahoo are going to trump it then go on, someone tell us what its got.
