Good grief, it's stuff like this that makes me afraid for the future of humanity. So if I were to use emacs on my windows box they couldn't read any of my files???
It don't effect me one way or the other. I work best in the wee hours of the night. I prefer to sleep when the giant ball of flame rises!

Hey, I'll put up with that for a fiber connection. The roads are so bad in my town anyway. I reported a water leak down my street over four months ago and they are just looking at it now. Not fixing, just looking!
Ok, I've moded my PCs and alot of other equipment. But I'm a little leary of moding something I travel 70mph down the freeway in.
If I forget to secure the clips on my water block it doesn't cause a 20 car pile up on the 405.
Tried Woldwind before I signed up with Keyhole a while ago, Keyhole is way faster and better interface. Now with Google behind them maybe they will beef up their servers.
What a great idea, a phone that you have to wave wildly in the air to send your message! The marketing people at Nokia are geniuses. It has built in repeat sales all over it. Think of all the extras they can sell too! Impact insurance, bystandard protection plan and of course for the die hards little tethers like on surfboards.
Yeah, but security is no match for stupidity. How much you want to bet people will write their passwords on the back of the card for safe keeping. I still see people with their passwords on a 3X5 card in their desk drawer.
I don't think people with handhelds in the theatre are the real problem.
When I saw the opening of Return of the King, the projectionist had a DV cam set up to record from the booth.
It was very obvious and yet nobody working there said anything.
I know many people that still use Netscape at home. The main difference from Mozilla is you can check Netscape WebMail accounts straight from the mail client, you get AOL Instant Messenger built in, and the spellchecker is much better than Mozilla's.

Hell no, could you play the killing gameshow on a Cray? I think Not! :)

Very interesting. I still prefer the EMP device I carry in my shoe for speed. :)
So I can just see it now. People asking to bum a charge off your pack...
Hey, if they could put this stuff on watch crystals they would have something.
Could be either? I don't even remember typing it.
Unless your at the Post Office. :)

Did anyone watch the trailer? Like they need a 500k feed to show darkness? I'd like to see more than a one second flash and cheezy titles!

A whitelist on your phone, sweet. Now if only I could add that to my cell phone!

At last, I have justification for walking down to the corner Starbucks rather than drinking the coffee from the machine 20 feet from my desk.
I can handle surfing on lava, no problem. But, if Jar Jar is in this movie I swear I'm going to freak out and start clawing at the screen. :)
Ok, so they are not anit-gravity. But they look cool and would make great desktop toys. (Except for the High DC voltage running through them.)
That would take a while to fill with MP3s!
