It's weird, technically, it's a virus. It spreads onto your system without your knowledge and prevents the computer from doing some function. Glad we use Linux, we're immune from all these WinViruses ;)

Ten writers will NOT produce the same script given a basic treatment. And probably only one of those will be good enough to become an actual movie. It's completely different. Programming is NOT art. Sounds like art to me... Ten painters paint pictures. One is good enough to hang on a wall at a gallery, that's art. Programming, if seen from a certain angle, IS art. Like my self-documenting code ;)

You forget, you Americans (by that, I do of course mean the Government, and not the quite palatable denizens) use hardly any of the energy available in that Uranium. 98% of the mass put in comes out as waste. Look at Sellafield in the UK, only 2% comes out as waste, as a hell of a lot of reprocessing goes on, I in fact believe that they are the most efficient in the world! If everyone reprocessed their waste a lot, then Yucca mountain would not be necessary to store all the waste, you could in fact use a place at least 20 times smaller, and somewhere a little safer too I might add!

Don't know about anyone else, but the reason I moved to Google (from Mamma.com) was the fact that they do not have image ads, just text ones. And they certainly don't flash! That's the main reason! Also, I use Google Groups because they ONLY have Usenet, I don't want all mailing list crap in there as well! At the moment, Google provide a good service, if they expand as they outline here, it's going to push away people! They'll become the next Yahoo (have you SEEN there website lately? Talk about bloat!)

I wonder if it is possible to create a Jigdo set... Jigdo is the Jigsaw Download program that Debian pushes. Essentially, it downloads individual files off the Debian website, then assembles them in an order suitable for burning onto CD, including the correct boot sector etc... Then it would be very easy to distribute multiple copies of KNOPPIX without having to seed them all. Just an idea...
