    The old gimp UI was horrible. GIMP has never tried to be photoshop.I too prefer Paintshop Pro. I use 7.0 AE. Anyone know if PSP will ever support 48bit images?

    I hate clicking a link supposedly to a product review, only to find that the product has no review as yet. Yet, they have a page dedicated to the product's blank review. There are so many of these now.

    They might be abandoning film cameras, but who said anything about Kodak abandoning film? There is still much money to be made in professional and consumer film supplies. Actually Kodaks recent "High Definition" ISO200 consumer grade film product is head and shoulders above any other consumer-grade film. I expect them to kick ass with this. Ever since I tried it, I've never been back to Fuji (for consumer grade film that is).

    As a player, there's no PB configuration. If you run a server, then sure expect to. You are bascially laying down the rules for your server. The only PB error messages I get it online where the game server admin has specified game-specific settings, and I have to configure my *game* .ini file (game cvar settings) not PB, else I get the kick.

    I usually dismiss a complain if I get killed by team member. Third time, they get a complaint. But if it happens again and again, I vote them off.

    If you are new to ET, float around in spectator mode to see what the teams are up to. Spectate a few map and learn. There are only 6 maps in the standard download.

    Plus ET has punkbuster to detect cheaters and kick them. Often new cheats are detected quite quickly too. Other games with punkbuster are RTCW, Americas Army, Battlefield 1942, Quake3 Arena, Call of Duty (soon to have pb), Rainbow 6:3, etc.

    ET is an awesome game. Can't get enough. It's completely freeware, and there are stacks of user made levels to download. Highly addictive! Plays great on 56k modem (hardware modem, not win-modem) too.

    I am a Debian user and love it. But get real, MacOS X GUI leave all other GUIs for dead. The GUI and the BSD base is almost enough for me to want to go buy an iBook....well if I could afford one that is. :-)

    Why? Can you prove that an Open Source or Linux developer/distriibutor/end-user posted those details?

    And if so, can you please explain how does this affect lawsuits/countersuits against/by IBM/Redhat, et al?

    How does this affect the development/distribution/adoption of Linux?

    Just wanting to know your reasoning, that is.
