Hear, hear. The RX-2 is an awesome car to do a restore job on. Such power from a tiny engine. Here is just one of many pics of them. Just check out any Australian Fast 4's and Rotaries magazine.
Actually, "Bad Taste" was an excellent movie (for what they designed it for). It was never meatn to be an Oscar winner. It was infact a low budget comedy horror, yet still has a strong fan base. Almost cult status. I know people who watched it more than times than they can remember.
Out of interest, have you received spam courtesy of any site/company that is newsworthy? I wonder how many of these larger "legit" sites/companies give out our email addresses.
Where is SCO getting all this cash for legal expenses from? Certainly not from Linux "IP" licenses. Have they got a money tree, or hoping that they can win a few cases early enough to finance the other pending cases? Lets hope they sue so many more SIMULTANEOUSLY, that they run out of money before any of the cases conclude.
It kinda reminds me of playing Monopoly. If you spend all your remaining cash buying hotels on Park Avenue, etc, and you land on someone elses hotel before they land on yours, you're screwed. Hopefully "SCO is Bankrupt" will be the next SCO headline we read.
I dont want Linux to look/behave/feel like Windows
Linux is also about choice. What you like, someone else won't like - and vice versa. That's why you can choose not to install XPDE, whereas others might choose to.
Perhaps MS might be keeping quiet about all this, delaying and hoping for the day that it gets included in numerous GNU/Linux distributions. Then MS can sue multiple GNU/Linux distributions in SCO-style (over some what they term as "IP" theft - not that I agree with those two terms).
Trust me, MS will be WELL aware of the existance of XPDE. Why are they not acting?
Why don't companies just sell stuff that people really want. A good product or service should be enough in itself to get consumer interest without resorting to nasty tricksy little pop-ups. There are many other forms of advertising are more effective and less annoying.
You mean like in Young Einstein where Albert Einstein (played by Yahoo Serious) splits the beer atom and with much explosion inadvertently invents beer with bubbles?
"The beer's got bubbles." "And it's got a good head on it too!"
Good point? Many of us don't know what the pre-empt...thangamuhwatchit features of 2.6.0 mean. For many it's still geekspeak. Will these new fangled inventions yield higher framerates on 3D apps such as FPS games?
If you gonna mention Half-life 2, you might as well remember the single player version of "Enemy Territory" that had the plug pulled on it. I am glad they gave us the free multiplayer version, but the single-player campaign would've been awesome!
Lets hope that Microsoft won't try to patent this also. :-)

Don't you know? Just like how Al Gore invented the Internet, MS also invented XML. ;-)
Or could it be that the RIAA used Kazaa-lite simply because they just didn't want to get infected by the spyware-laden Kazaa Media Desktop? ;-)
Good post dude! Thanks. :-)
Cue some one liner re: Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus.
Exactly, the ISPs loyalty is with their customers - not some third party with an axe to grind.

"No, you are rancid."

It's probably hosting the FBI website among other things now. ;-)

What planet are you from? ACPI works superbly in the Linux kernel.
Fasting is one sure way to make me cranky, headachy and a general pain to be around. Lots of water and understanding housemates help alot. :-)

I'm not sure about Java toasters, but will my Java coffee maker be ok? Or my Java Beans grinder? ;-)
Filmed in New Zealand too!
Nope. The thing about a decent firewall is that you *can* in most cases trust its security. However, the thing about Microsoft products is....
I don't know why I punctuated the first sentence with a question mark. No offensive intended. Should've used the preview feature. :-)

Just wondering, how is this different? Or are they next to get sued? I think InCD works on CDRWs only, but I might be wrong on that.
