I would have loved to see numbers backing that up in the fscking article! It doesn't surprise me that M$nbc fires off an article about a struggling Nintendo, shows sales comparisons between the PS2 and the GameCube, and omits the numbers for the XBox. They didn't want to paint the XBox with a similar brush, no doubt.
And furthermore, unit sales aside, I don't think Microsoft is breaking even yet, on a per unit basis! How long are they committed to running in this race.
Lastly, I own a GameCube for the quality of the games (Mario, Zelda, etc.) But when Sony releases its next gen system, I don't know how I'll be able to resist. Nintendo has to really step up to the plate on this one...
Amen, brother...and how does the gov't plan to raise all that cash for the prescription drug giveaway? If all industries outsourced, there'd be no one left to tax. There'd be less tax collected on purchased goods and services because no one could afford to spend.
It's a double-edged sword. Short-term shareholder benefit oftentimes conflicts with longer term returns. But given that we all live for the now, don't expect any big changes to the status quo...
I'd like to personally invite CEO Darl McBride, attorney David Boies, and spokesperson Blake Stowell to bite my ass.
I've got their licensing fee right here (pointing to crotch).
Point well taken, even if your response was a little acerbic. I was considering the inkblot technology in terms of web authentication only -- but I guess my point is still the same: given a strong password, most non-security conscience users will either store it in saved passwords or write it down on a post-it note, rather than go through the hassle of reconstructing it each time.
Unfortunately, most users would probably rely on stored passwords in their browser than figure out a password like "brrowehsespgFSbgbgbg", which kind of defeats the purpose.
Oh, by the way, I updated your password, replacing turtle man with the correct entry.
Gates is doubleplus ungood. Changing status of Gates to unperson.
Meanwhile, production up 5.6%. Chocolate rations increased by 20g weekly.
And our brothers have won a smashing victory over our enemies in Eastasia (or is it Eurasia?)...
Nine PCs and 13 monitors???? He must have one hell of an electric bill, not to mention that that room probably heat up to 103 with the a/c going full tilt.

Users could submit orders as ususal over the internet, selecting a mail-order (vs an e-commerce) option. The vendor would generate a postcard containing the order details and mail it to themselves. Meanwhile the customer's order is processed and shipped. In most cases the postage for a postcard is much less than the sales tax...
I suppose this would violate the 'spirit of the law', but how is that different than all of the stupid laws that violate the spirit of our liberty?
Every thing I've read about the XBox indicates that MS is losing their asses on this one...they don't control the production of the components like Sony and Nintendo. In fact, when Nintendo dropped it's price, Sony and MS followed suit -- only MS apparently went below the cost of production -- still hoping to make up the difference in game royalties.
HEY!!!! I resent your comments!
Or maybe I resemble them....I don't know -- now you've gotten me all confused...
.
HA! And when you find it, why isn't it more useful!
It's got to be that gosh darned command line ... oh, wait that's also my favorite feature... it's a love-hate thing...

Good catch! We all know Darl walks on all fours, so he should go to the house of pain on two counts...
He's probably a standing wiper to boot!

QUICK!!!! Patent that code!
Better yet, how about voting your elected cretins out of office and get some other folks in that will rein in government spending.
No matter what they call it....it was an act of GOD! Case dismissed!
WAIT -- never mind the previous post...I'm getting a patent attorney...
