Up to a point, the more humanlike a robot looks, the more we identify with it. There is a point where the robot looks so human, people are disturbed by it. The robot looks human but lacks the spark of life.

i have actually read up on the subject and do agree with some of the tenets of XP. however, i just can't bring myself to use the term "extreme" in regards to programming.
To me, it conjures up visions of fluorescent spandex, hang-gliding, and the superfluous use of the prefix "bungy."
I'm looking foreward to getting back in the know in regards to American politics. Everything I knew about 80's politics, I learned from Opus and Bill (hmm...a possible explanation for my leftist leanings). Can you blame me? I was 10 and it was more interesting than the news.

my sentiments exactly. do we really need more throw-away products? i've noticed in the last five years or so, this has become increasingly common(swifer dust-brooms and disposable tupperware). so much for our new-improved environmentally conscious society
can anyone really say that their monthly stamp budget is putting them in the poorhouse? god, i spend probably a total of $3.00 a year on stamps. who cares?

Everyone knows the best films skip the theaters and go straight to video/DVD. For instance, the Guy Ritchie/Madonna epic, "Swept Away"...
