For the most part I agree with this. However, prior to their last re-design, theonion.com was a MESS of text-ads. It was horrible to look at and was one of the main reasons I stopped going there. It's better now with this last change to the layout.
I understand the concept of upgrading. My concern is the changes made between versions that cause problems with how Mozilla functions as related to said profile.
That being said, I don't use the installer, but the zip file.
Yes there is. It was created with a previous version of Mozilla. Very often changes are made that break old profiles. Or, in other cases, it's the old profiles that are breaking the new version of Mozilla.
How often am I supposed to be creating a new profile? Every release? Every major release (i.e. non alpha or beta)?
It's a real pain in the rear to get a new profile going, especially when it comes to mail/news. For some reason I've got about 37 different "Inbox" files in what I perceive to be my Local Folders. who the hell knows which one is which?
Anyone have a clue on this one because my tube of cluepaste is fresh out...
I recently picked up an AE-1 on ebay for a really good price. Being new to photography, I started with an entry level SLR a year ago. I'm glad I got the AE-1, I've been learning a lot more about photography than I probably ever would with a more automatic camera.
Yes and no. What happens to the signal after it reaches my cell phone is up to me. If I don't listen, I'm still going to get charged. But let's not get too silly on this topic.
Looks like those rails could be mounted to the side of a desk or even into the wall if needed. While the pictures show the setup then as iffy, it's pretty trivial to make the thing stable.
To quote The Onion:
"Your favorite band sucks."
That's funny because most BLIND people I've met have no problems telling one bill from another.

Text Ads have one other advantage over banners: You can't filter them out with software. (At least not now, or rather, not that I've seen.)
Blocking banners and pop-ups is pretty trivial, but blocking text ads? That seems to be a more difficult problem to solve.
Only because he can't pronounce "colonization" properly.
That's Boxster, not Boxter.
No, I had to redirect to http://home.attbi.com/~bernhard36/honda-ad.html
I have had to pull the mirror but I put in a redirect to my at&t webspace. Let me know if that helps.
Uhm, if brands have zero value, then why do most major companies no longer make the products they represent.
Take Nike for example. Nike does not making anything.
period. They do not manufacture a single product.
They simply buy products they can put their brand on.
Nike shoes, nike shorts, nike condoms, whatever it is. Nike did not make it.
The brand is king. The entire company exists because of and for the brand.

I guess that last bit about the cluepaste was a bit weird. Feel free to ignore it.

I'm so glad someone else uses Andale. I love that font.

Shoot. Links would be nice, wouldn't they?

I managed to save some of the two catalog pages here:
:)

and

PIA03379.html has the 1.5MB image.
No, I'm not going to try and mirror the 600+MB TIFF file
First the /. crowd hits it and then forwards the url on to the (more than likely) non-/. crowd. Double the pain I say.
I can't for the life of me figure out why /. still posts articles with links to them. They have been discredited time and time again and yet...
Oh wait, it's just an off-shoot of the dupe-post disease. Never mind.

Oh man, have some of this cake, it's great!
until they can charge for the data transfered between the phone and the external device
You mean my ear?
How exactly are they planning on doing this?

What you don't wipe? Your hands near your asshole and then on your keyboard. Did you skip washing your hands in 1st grade or something?
I am never ever ever going to come near your keyboard.
