    So at what point do we admit that we cannot POSSIBLY pick the best presidential candidate, because they are free to say whatever they want during the campaign and do the exact opposite without any accountability?

    I understand your point and I understand the purpose of the electoral college. I believe that getting rid of it is a terrible idea. My point was that there are tons of biased posts on this site, and I see the majority of them having a pro-democrat/anti-republican bias. Part of this may be because of my point of view, but only a small part at best. Personally, the politics section amuses me. I thought it might get boring after President Obama was elected, but it hasn't changed much. Anyway, you you never answered my question, Not that you owe me an answer. I was just curious.

    Having a gym membership does jack shit for your condition. Going to a gym and exercising will make a difference. If they make a game entertaining enough for the little porker to get up and do something for a while each day or two, it would be infinitely more useful than an unused gym membership.

    I know you're trying to be funny, but we're talking about people that need retraining on how to save a file or create an attachment if they don't do it at least once every other week. Go out into the wild and move one of the office nub's commonly used icons a few inches in any direction and see their eyes glaze over and the panic set in.


    Thats the reality of the situation.

    Maybe the shop where your girlfriend works should train their employees properly. This would include identifying any legal currency they might have to deal with.

    If I buy a new computer, I've just bought a case, motherboard, hard drive, sound card, mouse, keyboard , monitor, and a few other things that I'm probably forgetting, that I don't need.

    You are either grossly overestimating minimum wage or the amount of time it takes to get the parts and build a computer. You'd make about 50 bucks at a minimum wage job in the time it would take to build a system.

    Your little math example is plain stupid. The dollar amount per victim is irrelavant. The money is to help the survivors, not the dead. 35 million dollars will buy a lot of food and supplies.

    If 35 million dollars is considered stingy, any amount that I could come up with would be insulting. So, I'll just keep my money.

    The Open Group filed a lawsuit against Apple over use of the Unix trademark, which means they are defending it. You and I can debate it all day long, but it is up to the courts to decide.
