I'm not a zealot either, but I use it and I COMPLETELY know what you mean. It's mostly the mouse gestures. And yes, I have been told that they work with Mozilla/Firebird, and I've tried it and couldn't get it to work very well, it wasn't very well documented, and frankly, Mozilla on Windows sucks.

As for the ads, I don't really know. I have an 18" LCD and a 21" CRT and I have ads on both of them (I used to used cracks.am to get rid of them, but I realized that it doesn't actually take up ANY space, it's just sort of annoying), and I don't really mind or notice

The browser is ugly, but the UI definitely isn't bad. I can't find any nice skins that I like, so I just deal with what it is. I like it, and the interface doesn't really bother me as I hardly ever used non-maximized windows, anyway.

  4. Why would you WANT to? on Disney to Make Movies Available Online · · Score: 1

I think that online movie technology will probably be less hacked than music for a couple of reasons all centering around the fact that most people don't WANT to watch a movie over and over again, whereas people listen to music constantly. That and the fact that it would take up LOTS of space to host movies. And with retals being so cheap ($3), why would you waste five hours getting the damned thing at a low quality?

Quite the contrary. Ever see The 700 Club on ABC Family, a subsidiary of Disney? They go on and on about how homosexuality is evil. It's a Christian convertion show.

Somehow I think that trying to dual-boot Windows and Linux on a G5 would be slightly more "challenging" than the original question. Somewhere in between breaking into Microsoft's uber-secret code base and reversing every single bit by hand to make it run on a G5, you might just figure that it's not really worth it.

Yes...by using Partition Magic. But the point is that Partition Magic is not free ($70, I think, but this could be way off) and you should not have to buy a third-party program that can be performed by programs that Microsoft provies free (fdsik).

In formal writing you're not supposed to use contractions in the first place. The only time I ever find myself in that position is for essays in French where things need to be put together ("je m'appelle" counts as how many words? You're not allowed to write out "me appelle," so, I dunno).

Sometimes you need to skimp, sometimes you don't. Nobody here is qualified to give you a decision based on the facts that were given. "I need to do something: Should I do it quickly but shoddily or slowly but completely?" Well, if somebody is holding a gun up to your head and telling you to get something done, there's no point in commenting shit. If somebody is telling you to write something that must last until the next Ice Age, then do it properly. What the fuck kind of question is this? On another note, should I use HTML or Assembly? I just can't decide. Help me out, guys.
