Do I lose my right to vote if there's a cable cut somewhere between me and the Board of Elections? Do I lose my right to vote if my ISP has screwed up some routing table? Can a DoS attack deny my right to vote?
you move off your ass and visit the polling station
Not a wasted vote really, I'm of the understanding that if you get more than 5% of votes in the US then you get certain advantages when running for president or something? If its a state that isn't closely contested then it doesn't matter if you vote for Nader, as such
(i might have some of the above details wrong, i don't know the US system that well)
Um no, just any FPS lower than a constant 43 sucks in a Q3 based game. The way ID made the engine certain values are better than others for jumping (off the top of my head the bottom three are 43, 76 and 127, could be wrong though)
more fps doesn't always = better in your sense, but being able to mantain a mimimum FPS for better jumping _is_ betterin Q3 based games. FACKT
There will be a multiplayer map released that is set in North Africa for ET MP.
Afaik the X-Box game doesn't include you leading a platoon of soldiers does it?
They probably just used textures and the layout but they don't use the AI and stuff that was being developed for ET SP. You've got to wonder does that really matter, they probably had these textures and layouts on the PC first anyway, and they _will_ still be coming in some shape
the final version *is* free, activision has stated this a few times, as someone whos still involved in the RtCW scene you will find this out by actually reading the official site, and many fan sites.
In Britain they'd just bring a charge of not giving the police your encryption key (only in legalese) I think the maximum prison length for this is five years.
So if you've got details that will get you locked up for any longer than that...
For those of you that don't know BSkyB provides multichannel access to most of the UK, they only have a couple of competitors and the major one went bust earlier this year.
The News Of the World is the UKs biggest selling weekly paper. I think the sun is probably the biggest selling daily as well.
News Media owns way too much imo. If you don't have Rupert Murdochs support at election time then you don't get to be Prime Minister. His news outlets are vastly influential. and completely biased.
Ubuntu ships some non-free binary drivers by default. See the bottom of http://www.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/licensing
you mean something like this? i imagine they've sold loads ;)
that assumes you're rich enough to have 'net access. Many eastern europeans in particular find it hard to get affordable access.
or they just put it on their uber platinum credit card
didn't the guys heart and brain patterns stop?
i thought it was because neo is an acronym of one, as well as a simile for new.
presumably thats because when they say linux thats what they mean. I'm sure their lawyers checked with their geeks.
yeah once you unlock it, well the orange version does iirc
you forgot about the first game in the series: rise of the robots
wouldn't you have to obtain a credit card with american billing address first? might have to check some of those offers they keep emailing me
pity their TV programs suck ass :) and they took over most of the rest of ITV
there are map packs (try www.rtcwfiles.com that may have some) No single player mods afaik though
Bzzzzzzzzt no it won't Splash Damage (the development studio) say so

The final full version will not require the full version of the original RtCW. Or any version of it, or a cd-key from it etc etc
43 is one of the optimal values, so pretty much everyone should be fine...
not really, the RtCW on X-Box has been based on RtCW, the SP of ET was a different kind of game, you controlled a squad of players
There is no single player, multiplayer only. The single player side wasn't "progressing as expected" and was canned
