Okay, so from context, I'm guessing that something in that post was ironic/sarcastic. Not sure which part, though, not being all that familiar with Sweden. What do you mean?
I've been using the same since about 10.04, but I really wish they'd solve the "panel crashing on login" issue. I put a shortcut on the desktop to re-launch it, but it's kind of annoying.
Still, its my only real complaint, which puts it head and shoulders above the other options.
You might consult the constitution for the definition of "treason," before you try to play the pedantry card and make yourself look even more like a frothing nutbag.
I don't even want to KNOW how the altered physics would screw with THAT particular activity... Of course, once it "is common", I'm sure I'll find out. On the internet. For 4.95/mo
Holy crap, that's not even close. You're still working on the flawed premise that, assuming you even DO those upgrades, which is hardly a given, you're doing them with bleeding edge parts.
Moreover, I think such an "accident" would raise a whole lot of red flags for watchdog groups.
It probably would. On the other hand, the government hasn't really given a tinker's dam about "watchdog groups" for some time, until they get their hands on something concrete. Which would just start the cycle over again.
While not altogether unreasonable, your suggestion fails to take into account the realities of the status quo.

Meanwhile, the world has put the US on trial for failing to live up to the US constitution,
Have they? Admittedly, it's the sort of thing that would be kept out of the media since they've become little more than propagandists, but I would have thought I'd at least seen it on a blog somewhere. The harshest thing I've seen out of anyone who wasn't already talking crap from the moral low ground (Iran, DPRK, etc...) have been various "sternly worded scoldings." No one's had the balls to actually take us to task for it, though.
In PC gaming, you are likely spending on average $500/year to keep up.
What the hell are you doing to your kit? If you blow $500 on a video card, you're doing pretty good for probably half a decade. Hell, you can get 3 years out of a sub-$200 last-gen card.
Yeah, PC gaming does have it's disadvantages vs consoles - some of the most onerous DRM in the industry, for starters (even everyone's darling Steam is worse than anything on a disc-based console game), but that claim was just bull. "PC Gaming" is not, and never has been, synonymous with "bleeding edge."
Considering that "how to make [console] successful" seems, these days, to universally include the same moves that made Sony's treatment of PS3 owners so despicable, I'm afraid I'll need to see a binding "What we're going to do differently" list before they get another chance.
True, but when you're looking to replace a cellphone, the utter lack of any cell phone capability does remove it from consideration. And at about 1/3 the price, it might be fun for the linux-loving gadget head (I was watching it with bated breath until I saw how much they wanted for the thing).
"A full keyboard, game controls, and desktop linux on a 600mHz processor with 256MB ram" might be the only contender in it's space, but there's really a reason for that.
OpenPandora's not a phone, and its hardware is stupidly weak for the price - they specced and priced it when it was designed, and then it took forever to launch. By the time it did, it was already outclassed by 2+ generations of cell phone.
Then you need a lot more practice expressing yourself, since what you've said in other posts is irrelevant to what you posted in the one I responded to. You made the ridiculous claim:
Without Google services, the value of an android device drops significantly.
Its not just about the 'market', as you also lose the entire Google ecosystem
It never, apparently, occurred to you that the benefit of a smart phone might, in fact, be its extensible functionality, rather than the baked in social garbage that you claim the phone is "crippled" without. This does not speak well to your objectivity to begin with.
Then you claimed I was lying and flew into the ad-homs because my use case doesn't fit your baseless assertion, and tried to handwave away what you actually said.
If you're not actually a fanboy, you might want to stop running from their playbook, chummer.
No! Please!
A new site: that I can get behind. But to take that code? Are you MAD?
IIS also is hardly the crippled pile of steaming crap which it used to be.
This is very true. It's made a lot of progress in the past few years, and is now an almost unrecognizable, completely new pile of steaming crap.

You forgot:
Rosebud is a sled.
True. The Democrats are the other way around.
Oh, that looks interesting. If my Nexus 5 ever gets here (stupid winter storms...) I'll definitely want to be read up on that.
Thanks!
Are you talking about [Open]PDroid? I ask because if there's another mod that does the same thing, I might want to look into it. :)

People are still using FileZilla after the sourceforge scumware installer issue?

It's not the 90s, either. Now they do expensive junk.

It would be interesting to see, to be sure.

Only 'coz we aren't allowed to have 'em.
And yes, grammar nazis, I got the wrong "its" in there. I'll report for knuckle slapping after work.
