Its hard to understand this being in the tech world. Tech world is about ideas and ideologies, but fails to see the real world for what it is (until it bites you in the a$$), which is all about property rights.
I was (and still am) a die hard geek, but out of curiosity I wanted to learn about real estate after we bought our house. I thought there are so many inefficiencies that this will be something I can look to find better ways of doing that. I really wanted to do that before we bought the house, but didn't work out that way.
I think every one should learn about about how real estate works before buying a house. Its an eye opener. Every war ever fought, every treaty that has been signed, and even the Habendum clause ("to have and to hold") https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habendum_clause in the marriage wows comes down to property rights. Yes, a wife was considered property, and property rights were granted along with such property! As far patents are concerned, like everything else with property rights, its all about YOUR cow crossed into my yard and ate MY grass. Now I want to be compensated.
Why does it state "IE Losing 10% Market Share Every Two Years!" Why not 40% every 8 years or just do the math and say IE losing at a rate of 5% a year?
Maybe Mozilla guys should read slashdot more often... if they/. just a couple of days agao, they would have been able to recognize a business opportunity http://tech.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=09/03/10/1942232
Now, could I be the one to have brokered this deal and collect a few million$?
Hmmm... how would it know I intend to use it as a web browser or a phone when I pull it out of my pocket in the compacted form? I guess it would have to be able to read the mind too.

We have come a long way since then to the Wireless Ware Culture... this is not much progress for 4,600 years!
Unlike you, I read further... basically the headline... and I hear its not a game like the Minesweeper at all, but a new web browser.
I am going to skip it though because I figure its called Minefield because its full of bugs that blow up every time you do something;-)
Yeah, wait a minute people! Take a breath and don't jump to conclusions. Why do we have to assume that this was the sentence for killing his wife? It may be for writing the Riser FS;-)
That sound a bit too harsh doesn't it... after all it was just another free File System. DCMA must be getting pretty antsy these days;-) or did the jury think it was really that bad?
Was this for killing his wife or for writing the Riser FS? ooohh, never mind.
I'm coming up with a "I'm poor!" app for those who can't afford the "I am rich!" app, for much, much less. Its going to display a rock instead of a glowing gem, and my market research indicates $9.99 would be the sweet spot.
This is a great story and its sad how people are making rude comments about the mom. If you had a dying child, you were helpless and couldn't do anything to help save the child, you'd be like that too. So, please be a bit more sensitive about others.
Regardless, this is something that can save the life of these insensitive people's children too if needed (if they are able to reproduce in the first place!) Give the guy some credit doing the best as a doctor to save a life.

This is great news for the coconut pickers who climb to great heights in unsafe conditions, often putting their lives in grave danger! http://www.thehindu.com/sci-tech/agriculture/article406266.ece
I wander if they'd charge extra for luggage.
I wonder if a marketing team came up with the name... My Ho is gonna fcuk you over!

This is obviously Microsoft trying to do one better than PlayStation http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7907489.stm
Very well put and I totally agree. Some people just want things to be a certain way at all cost, yet they think they are different from dictators.
You have to pick and choose! Alzheimer's or hallucinations - you can't have both!
What if you drink Coffee with the crack and dope? Certainly worth researching ;-)
So the BatMobile is finally becoming reality!
No. I think its more related to this slashdot story http://science.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=08/12/15/1629245 Failure to recognize sarcasm. "Once we pass that death zone, its all down hill from there on"
This article just helped me to realize that I have dementia!
So, how do I wash this shirt?

Now we can watch porn inside a tv in the porn movie!
Cmon, whats a Bush and a Dick to do really, other than screw? I only hope that an old man and a hot chick wont do the same for the next 4 years.

As it turns out, on Cloud 9!
Well, Slashdotting may soon be included in the upcoming Olympics. Who is to say its not a sport?
