    Man look at these people go with all these solutions. Parent poster clarified and said as a consumer of a webpage- The viewer! This is a good question and the way I do it is with the Firefox "Web Developer" extension. Then all you have to do is right click, go to Web Developer > View Source > View Generated Source.

    While the linked article makes no mention of backdating options, Apple is investigating whether it has occurred. See Bloomberg article. It remains unknown whether or not backdating actually occurred.

    You are also correct that it is an internal inquiry right now, but Bloomberg seems to cast doubt on it remaining entirely internal.

    And yes, that line about Steve Jobs is complete FUD crap. The submitter sucks.

    There's plenty of reasons, foremost of all that we can learn much about surviving outside of the earth by building a moonbase. And if we don't do it now, when will we do it? 2030 is a fairly far off date. We can't just postpone learning new things indefinitly.

    What are you talking about? How in the hell is 20 or 27mpg good on gas consumption? My car gets 33/40mpg, which is about the best the market offers in terms of non-hybrid vehicles, and I hardly consider that more than just "good." With all the people driving these supposedly good on gas vehicles getting 20-27mpg, if they all drove mine, with every 3 cars that's 1 less car. That's not particularly good on gas if you ask me.

    For once I actually agree with O'Reilly. But it's also worth noting, and this is the saddest part of the whole situation, that disarming Hezbollah still leaves numerous terrorist groups around who are willing to strike Israel. Hezbollah eclipsed Hamas recently, but Hamas was the main topic for a while.

    If someone is incuring such fees, they should utilize some form of encryption. Even those that are breakable, like WEP, still give the message that one is trespassing should one access the network. And it doesn't look like anyone has really justified breaking into an encrypted network.

    But none of this implies that the movie is going to suck. I've seen plenty of movies I actually did enjoy by just saying "Whatever, I'll go with this one" at a rental store.

    Of course the great thing about Netflix and the idea of online movie rental is that you can continually explore the movies you may normally have not watched without it being a waste of money.

    The interest of a checking account will still pale in comparison to the possible returns of a mutual fund.

    Of course, the risk is infinitely lower. (But even a cash deposit is a better choice than checking/savings account for collecting interest)

    My chickens didn't have their wings clipped, and they could still barely fly. They could make it into 10 foot high branches without too much of a problem. They were also incredibly good at evading my attempts to catch them, flying into trees, decks, roofs...

    He's talking about Germany, where if you get flashed when you are in the left lane, you move the hell over so you don't get hit.

    To the grandparent poster: Many people here wish more people followed the no passing on the right law. The problem is that lots of slow people stay in the left lane and refuse to move, even with a light flash. It's simply incredible to watch them sit in that lane despite my best efforts to remove them...

    Foreigners (at least with a US license) can drive for 6 months in Germany before needing a license, from what I understood when I was there recently for 5 months. I never ran into any problems (but then again, I was never pulled over by the Polizei, and rarely drove anyway. Also worth noting is that I was 18/19 at the time of driving over there, this was all about a half a year ago now).

    On your other question, a friend of mine from Munich got his license in America and then transfered it to Germany (he still had to take a written test). It cost less to transfer it than to get a brand new one, but it was still relatively expensive when you compare it to the price of an American license (~$50 depending on the state and other stupid random factors).

    Your best bet is to ask at a Stadthaus (city hall) at whatever Germany city you end up at. They'll most likely speak english.

    It is indeed a privilege. A roughly $1,000 privilege. (Price varies by location). As much as I dislike the idea of such an expensive license, it makes the prospect of losing it that much more compelling to would be bad drivers.

    Dear Parent Poster, Even if I lived 5 miles away from where I worked, I am almost positive I would be dead from biking to work. Most American roads simply aren't bike friendly, to say the very least. On the contrary, when I was in Germany, I regularly biked everywhere, even when it was more than 5 miles away with little to no fear for my life/bodily well being.

    But why listen to the grandparent? I for one can't wait for there to be a million different versions of Java that aren't cross compatible, with various open and closed source projects using specific copies of each one, resulting in mass confusion.
