Let us not forget that Rush is not stuck in the 70's. That's jsut the perception of people who have either lost touch/moved on from the band. Or never really liked them in the first place.

In a rock format, these guys are still cutting edge. And play with more precision and overall talent than they did in the 70's.

It'll be a sad day when they finally do get tired of touring, and just hang it up.

Got news for you, the country's changed. The govt doesn't listen to us any more. And don't tell me about mass protests - the masses are brainwashed and don't really care. Too busy watching American Idiot or Dancing with the Stupid to care.

And those of us who do care.... well. I don't think there's enough of us to get a healthy, lasting protest started.

In my mind, this one being among the first was still quite an achievement.. because if you think about it, not much has changed since then. It really hasn't. Sure the boxes are faster today, and the applications more sophisticated... but the basics of multitasking are more or less the same today.... we stand on the shoulders of giants.

On another note, I like the look of the portrait oriented monitor. It looks to be so much better suited to documents, and probably coding, than the mostly landscape orientations that came later.

Respectfully, i disagree that the internet is responsible for more porn. People are responsible for more porn. There is a need/demand for it, and the predominant medium to meet that need just happens to be the internet.. today. Yesterday it was printed matter. The day before that, it was peeking through keyholes... all the way back in time. People want to see people naked. (which to me isn't a bad thing.. nature).

People are responsible for their behavior. And stuff being more easily available doesn't change that. If a serial killer can't find a gun, he's going to use a club or a knife to get his thrill ....
