Let us not forget that Rush is not stuck in the 70's. That's jsut the perception of people who have either lost touch/moved on from the band. Or never really liked them in the first place.
In a rock format, these guys are still cutting edge. And play with more precision and overall talent than they did in the 70's.
It'll be a sad day when they finally do get tired of touring, and just hang it up.
Oh don't worry. Lucas is working on correcting your memory. In the next edition you will see scout AT-AT's scouring the jundland wastes for the droids.
>> And rather than shame a President for letting it happen you should be shaming the US Citizenry that allowed this.
Allow it? Fuck. How the hell can we stop it?
Got news for you, the country's changed. The govt doesn't listen to us any more. And don't tell me about mass protests - the masses are brainwashed and don't really care. Too busy watching American Idiot or Dancing with the Stupid to care.
And those of us who do care.... well. I don't think there's enough of us to get a healthy, lasting protest started.
This. This is the post of the fracking month. Bravo. Your logic is dead on.
I have always thought of the TSA as Nazi like, or glorified rent-a-cops**, depending on my mood. But after reading your post i will never think about them, or their kind, the same ever again, thugs that they are..
Thank you for educating me and giving me something to think about today.
Like we haven't figured out that they want to condition the regulators and lawmakers to believe this bunk. The ultimate goal of this is so that the airlines can go back to selling us ridiculously expensive phone calls and other services....
Pick up an emulator and the ROM somewhere..... I think someone built a c++ version for the PC about 10 years back.. that may still be around. It allowed for custom mazes to be defined.
It's simple graphics wise - but I can totally see a kid still getting into the game.:-)
I am likely a victim of the PS3 debacle, like so many others. So this does suck for us.
But through it all, I am smiling. Why you may ask? This, to me, is Karma coming full circle for Sony and their fucking rootkits from half a decade ago.
Good thing he didn't get the job. Because Mr Jordan then went on to write a series of very successful fantasy novels, gaining fame and legions of devoted Rand-Fans world wide. ALl this before his sad and untimely passing.
I don't care so much if it were the first or not. It was still cool for it's time. In my mind, this one being among the first was still quite an achievement.. because if you think about it, not much has changed since then. It really hasn't. Sure the boxes are faster today, and the applications more sophisticated... but the basics of multitasking are more or less the same today.... we stand on the shoulders of giants.
On another note, I like the look of the portrait oriented monitor. It looks to be so much better suited to documents, and probably coding, than the mostly landscape orientations that came later.
I get your point. But to me it's like saying that guns kill people, rather than people killing people.
Respectfully, i disagree that the internet is responsible for more porn. People are responsible for more porn. There is a need/demand for it, and the predominant medium to meet that need just happens to be the internet.. today. Yesterday it was printed matter. The day before that, it was peeking through keyholes... all the way back in time. People want to see people naked. (which to me isn't a bad thing.. nature).
People are responsible for their behavior. And stuff being more easily available doesn't change that. If a serial killer can't find a gun, he's going to use a club or a knife to get his thrill....
It's about time that Nikolai stands up for himself and goes after the use of some of his inventions. Poor guy - if he doesn't he's likely to end up broke, broken, and dead in a hotel on 34th Street in NYC.
RTFA.
So they experimented with offbeat stuff and sounds, and came up with something fascinating.
This my friend, is called Progressive Rock.

Hey, how about that badass walking rocket launcher the aliens had.
Pretty realistic looking if you ask me.

Is Sony getting back at us for bashing them over the last month or so??

That's where the law belongs.. In Soviet Russia.
Still playable - Still awesome.

>> Tabs vs spaces, on the other hand, well, there's no question. Heretics who indent with TABS should be burned at the stake.
There. Fixed that for ya'.
Better get it all done quickly friend. I suspect that May 21 will be the day that happens.... :P
Want to see the bastard's head on a spike in Battery Park --this week--. Can someone make that happen, please?
Have you heard the Yes version? Great rendition. :)

Remember those kids?
Or maybe the real reason was that the brass felt threatened. He'd move up the ranks too fast, and any one of their own jobs would be at risk.
Hey, did you guys hear about that guy from Finland who wrote his own operating system? What a cool little project....
I'm going to invoke Godwin's Law here. The Nazi's applied the same standard to everyone they sent to the camps too....

I don't forsee anyone needing more than 14 bits.

Lighten up Francis. It was a typo.
