    Imagine a vacation spot where you can instantly lose weight and exercise in a low strain environment. Heck, just going to the moon will take 100lbs of your scale :-p

    I would imagine experiments on how low gravity (not weightlessness) affects plants and humans would prove useful. And perhaps they can produce fuel of some sort there and use it as a base for launching missions further into space.

    And ofcourse it will be a nice place to train for NASA's competitors. Practice landing on the moon and then you can go to other planets/moons. :-)

    Switzerland and Norway use mm.dd.yyyy which causes great confusion for their more intelligent neighbor nations.
    Actually, in Norway the standard is dd/mm-yyyy, like today: 17/2-2005 (or sometimes just 17/2-05).

    Hmm, yes a standarized human-readable way to interface with databases, that would actually be really helpful.

    I don't know, perhaps we could call it a Structured Query Language or something. :-)

    I was hoping they would make one movie per novel, sort of like lord of the rings. There is so much material in the books that there shouldn't be a problem to make several movies, one per novel.

    ..as advertised. Especially Nokia seems to be unable to implement bluetooth correctly, and I'm only lucky if I manage to connect my computer to a nokia phone with bluetooth. I've used 3Com-adapters, Socket-adapters and now even the logitech wireless desktop MX with bluetooth (works great btw!) but talk to my nokia? No sorry, that doesn't really work. Bluetooth is great in theory but the interoperability-issues are far too great.

    I forgot to mention this but I would have to punch in expiration dates as well when I put things in.

    And ofcourse, My Nokia 6600 has Opera so I don't have to use WAP but can use a regular web interface.

    One of my pet projects now is to turn a laptop, a cuecat and a webcam into a fridge computer that will allow me to inventory my refridgerator as well as take a snapshot whenever I open the door.

    Imagine using a WAP-enabled phone to check what I have in the fridge at home. No more "do I have milk?".
