    Following his theory:
    Maybe temperature in the poles is low enough that freezing occurs before boiling.
    Then, water in other latitudes would evaporate, get transported to the poles by wind and freeze there. Accumulating over time, drying the rest of the planet and drawing a nice white pole.

    Disclaimer: I have no idea that could be even feasible.

    Option A: If vendors feel so confident with the IP into Linux... they should protect end users with true vendor-based indemnification

    Option B: If vendors are protecting users with vendor-based indemnifications... that proves they're not confident about the IP into Linux.

    But, but, it's not an indemnification, it's a legal defense fund...

    It's not agreeing they're guilty and paying their consumers a compensation, is just helping their consumers don't get harrassed by SCO litigation spree.

    NO ONE has yet to come up with ANY voting method that relects "the wishes of the voter" than +- 2%!!!

    - Print paper ballots for each political party.
    - Every voter chooses one and puts em in a box.
    - Manual recount done by people selected randomly among the population, with observers from each of the parties.
    - Results are ready in 4 hours max, and recounts are possible afterwards.

    This is how it works in my country. You CAN'T make a mistake with this system, but i suppose it won't work in the US, since you can vote for multiple persons instead of whole parties there, right?

    Running Simcity 4 in VMWare under Linux, however, is not a great option ;-)

    However running Simcity 3000 under WINE works perfectly.
    And Simcity 4 has the same working-score in transgaming.com but I haven't tried it yet, you could give it a try, I bet it will work good.

    Put it under any serious server load on a multiproc box and it probably would kick the shits right out of Linux 2.4.
    Have you seen the pricing scheme for multiproc? 2proc box: 2,299$
    With that money i can buy 2 singleproc uberboxes and install Linux!
    Not to mention 2.6 is almost ready

    Yessir, the solution is introducing malware in VOIP software, because nobody in another country can develop an OSS alternative to it, and the users will happily pay additional cost in their calls because of taxes using your version.

    QT libs are double licensed GPL or QPL (or QCL if you pay, the "C" stands for commercial)

    IIRC QPL only disallows developing comercial apps.
    Clearly the KDE libs aren't comercial, so no problem, no violation of the GPL.
