I put very little faith in the FBI nowadays. They have proven themselves to be just a political weapon of whoever is in power. Their shiny reputation is somewhat tarnished. I doubt they'll ever be trusted again to be impartial and nonpartisan.

  2. This borders on being a general warrant on Feds Walk Into a Building, Demand Everyone's Fingerprints To Open Phones (dailyherald.com) · · Score: 4, Interesting

The one thing the Founders wanted to guard against was general warrants. This warrant gets pretty close to being one. It was limited to a specific building, but next time it could be limited to a specific block, or even a specific city or county. I think they're building precedent for doing such things. If they get away with this one, then what's to stop them from going further?

  6. So, you agree with me that John Podesta is a crackpot, because that's exactly what he said.

On the picture ID, the one thing I have thought of in that space is that if you show up on Election Day with a drivers license with a picture, attest that you are a citizen, you have a right to vote in Federal elections."

Last year over half of the drivers' licenses issued in California were issued to "undocumented aliens". John Boy thinks they should be able to vote using that license.

  7. What kind of tv does he have?!? on Television Needs To Be Reinvented, Says Apple SVP (businessinsider.com) · · Score: 1

What is Eddy's problem? Is he just that dense or does he want to hype a new product from Apple?

  8. Idiots shouldn't use email. They'll click on any link in front of them. I see people like that every day and it makes me wonder how they even tie their shoes in the morning.

I'm beginning to doubt that simply having a college degree equates with "being educated". I see journalists with college degrees who can't write an article without a misspelled word or bad grammar, teachers who can't teach their subject matter (maybe because they don't know it?), and even some college graduates who can't read above an 8th grade level.

What passes for "educated" today would have barely been acceptable for a high school diploma a few decades ago. So go ahead and feel smug if you wish; the rest of us know better.

If anybody votes for Hillary, they are giving their stamp of approval to corruption. I encourage everybody to watch the video and then honestly think about who you're voting for this November. Trump is no saint, but he's a far cry away from that shit.

  14. What is "elimanate" anyway?

  15. Young people haven't seen the old movies and television shows dozens of times already like older people have.

A fifteen year old movie is brand new to a fifteen year old kid. I may have seen it half a dozen times during that same fifteen years.

When Trump mentioned the Russians having Hillary's email, he was talking about the thousands of emails she had on her server. THAT server was wiped clean way before Trump even got in the race. Sheesh, people! Get a fucking clue.

I've traveled on the job for more than 40 years, going to places I'd never been to before. I never had any problem finding my way, and most of that time there were no consumer GPS receivers.

I have a Garmin nowadays, but I use it mainly for ETA. The roads I already know because I've traveled on them hundreds of times.

I usually vote absentee anyway because I'm always traveling on my job.

One of the biggest problems we're going to see this election cycle is non-citizens and dead people voting. I've always been against a national ID card, but maybe it's time we have one just to protect our elections.
