I certainly don't want one huge national police force at the beck and call of one strong corrupt centralized government. We've seen that in other countries and it usually doesn't go so well for the people.

Trump's tax returns are none of your business. There is no law requiring anybody running for office to release their tax returns. Some do it voluntarily, but they aren't required to do it.

If he were doing anything illegal, we'd know about it because he's been audited EVERY SINGLE year for the past twelve years. Koskinen (IRS head who thinks it's cool to lie to Congress) says it would be rare to be audited several years in a row, but he didn't deny it's possible.

Are your tax returns accurate and honest enough for that kind of scrutiny?

Medicare is not as good as you think it is. I know several people on Medicare who have been denied access to procedures because of their age. The "death panels" are real. Well, they're not deciding life and death yet, but they are getting close when they deny seniors the care they need to lead a pain-free life. Oh, and Medicare is NOT free. They pay every month for it.

Back before the ACA was passed everybody was complaining about insurance companies denying claims. What was funny was that Medicare was denying more claims than any insurance company ever dreamed was possible.

Yes, but not all democracies are really democracies. And most of the ones that call themselves democracies don't have the free speech protections of the United States.

Even the United Nations own Universal Declaration of Human Rights doesn't guarantee free speech (or any rights for that matter).

I believe politicians are seeing the climate change issue as an opportunity to grab more power over people. And the way politicians are heading with their solution to climate change is generally leading towards totalitarianism. It's their nature; they're all like that.
