The GeForce is clocked @ 500MHz. The Quadro is clocked @ 400MHz and doesn't need the hoover for cooling.
didja RT*A? From the horses mouth: I've run benchmarks at high resolutions when possible to minimize the influence of the CPU. By default the Quadro FX 2000 operates at 300/600MHz in 2D mode, and 400/800MHz in 3D performance mode. The new Detonators allow "auto-detection" of the optimal overclocking speed. This was determined to be 468/937. The GeForce FX 5800 Ultra runs at 500/1000. Here are the results we obtained with the card overclocked to 468/937:
I'm getting solid performance with a GPU that never runs past 63C and enters into the "high fan speed mode."
This article was a REALLY weak attempt to bash Microsoft.
I didn't get the impression that he was trying to bash Microsoft... he was just trying to see if the XBox was good for clustering. So what if it isn't? That doesn't make Microsoft worse...
Soon, it will be illegal to sell or loan books containing violence to persons under age 18. That would include the Bible, and keeping that mind-warping drivel from our youth will help break the cycle of these right wing conservative fucks who keep making these retarded bills!!!!!
Wow... you're intelligent... I think your right... the Bible is the cause of all censorship. It has nothing whatsoever to do with people in power being overly nosy and having deranged senses of responsibility for what other people do.
Seriously, this law has nothing to do with "morals" and everything to do with "mind control".

I do have a job... a good one, in fact. It's just not as a game developer. (I mean, what could be more fun than working on a video game everyday, and being able to tell people, "look what I made".... try impressing non-cs people with my fast relational database lookups or something just doesn't work...)
By the time I graduated from college, I had given up on learning how to program games in school, and thus gave up on trying to be a game programmer... oh well. I'll make a game called "Awesome" thats an ugly take off of "Snood" that's an ugly take off of "Bust a Move", and make myself an underground success!!!
By the way, I'm personally of the opinion that nobody should be driving a car >10 years old. The improvements in emisssions technology and safety have been dramatic, and your old car can be recycled and turned into new ones.
And how, may I ask, is someone supposed to pay for this newer car? Don't tell me I can afford a 9 year old car, either, because in a year, you'll just say, "you should trade that in for a newer car, cause now it's ten years old". Your opinion seems to come from the luxury of making a decent living, while many people can't even save $500 in a year because of living expenses and bills, let alone buy a 5 year old car every five years...
Our traffic for the day totaled over 590,000 requests (hits), with over 250,000 of those being requests for pages. Requests peaked at 677 per minute, which of course includes everything (images, pages, files, etc.). The peak number strictly for article pages was 235 per minute.

I used to play multiplayer tetris on the LAN at work. There were bonus pieces that let you do good things like eliminate rows from the bottom of the screen or bad things like drop random blocks on someone's screen
It was team based and you generally had to use your good blocks on an ally who's in trouble. We'd play it for hours at a time, and we were enjoying it and socializing, not too numbed to stop. Since we were all in the same room, it was like a LAN party. Occasionally, even the managers would play.
Was it by chance called tetrinet? That game ruled.

Fighting "The War on the War" on Drugs...
maybe you really are on drugs... you accidently said "the War on" twice... just being helpful.
And which war is this that you have to take drugs to fight in?
As I said, this is a fairly uneducated guess. The question is, does the centrifugal force matter anything, considering strength the gravitational force and the thermonuclear explosion?
Trick question... the answer is false, because centrifugal force doesn't exist. (talk to my High School physics teacher about that one...) Maybe the centripetal force might affect things...
Given enough resources, large companies can "pollute" these networks with "garbage" (i.e. corrupted songs etc.) that top people's search lists so that it becomes an intensely frustrating thing to find a full, complete, and good quality file.
Then again, I have that problem anyways. Blimey!
But if you are searching for legal/obscure files, it doesn't matter, because they won't be targeted by the companies.
On a side note, can't these large companies be held responsible for all the bandwidth that they cause to be wasted? Or do we run into the same problem we have prosecuting spammers for bandwidth waste?
This project is intriguing, but the 15 FPS and lack of ability to use at the very least VCR+ codes for one off show recordings is a bit of a pain. It seems like a better capture card could fix the FPS to a good quality 30, and someone has to be able to code a VCR+ decoder... I understand that it is a fairly simple algorithm, and it would make things so much nicer.
Just imagine, like you (or just me?) used to tinker around with broken TVs even though you could get shocked... Oh yeah, and where to buy one.:-)
Except for us who have to make informed decisions about future upgrade paths and which processors are going to provide the best cost and performance for our specific applications. How will they compensate for a plane that has spun out of control or is upside-down? Either way, it seems like the chute would get tangled up with the plane and not do much good.
.they can make this work in bigger aeroplanes as well. Put a para on a 747 and i'll be really impressed, and perhaps even a bit more confident i will reach the ground safe:-)
Realistically, one would assume that they would put a large number of parachutes on a larger plane. The article talks about a small single engine plane, but you wouldn't want to try and hold a 747 up by one attachment point even if you had a big enough prarchute.
I did a quick price check and for 100 terabytes of data on 80GB drives (Best price/size ratio I could find), that's about $111,250 worth of storage. Of course, I guess they would get bulk discounts:).

"Sure, Wi-Fi has huge potential. But the spectrum could quickly become overcrowded and unreliable if it grows too quickly.
