I am. The HT consortium needs to get its act together to offer some viable competition to PCI express in terms of cards and peripherals. HT is free to use while mobo and card makers will have to pay liscencing fees for pci express, driving up component prices and possibly adding to tech market stagnation (assuming the tech market doesnt turn around by h2 04, god forbid).

You do realize that hard drives are the slowest part of a computer dont you? RAM and the CPU do things in nanoseconds while it still takes milliseconds for hard drives to access things. Personally I like a well balanced system, and that is why I have a WD1200JB. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link and a computer is as only as fast as its slowest component. The fanboys were most likely drooling about the fact that hard drive thrashing would not take as long as before.

Get over it thousands of children starve to death each year in 3rd world countries and I dont see you doing anything about it you hypocrites. A firearm is merely a tool. It can be used for good or for evil, that depends entirely on the user. Any power tool can become a weapon. When do you suggest we implement a "Smart Power Tool" law so power tools will only function in the hands of their owners? The entire smart weapon is assinine just due to the fact that the firearm should be available to the entire family in a home defense situation. If the burglar breaks in and ties up the dad, and rapes the mom the child, if he has been trained on how to use the firearm safely (and was physically able to use the weapon, due to weight and recoil concerns), should be able to defend the family with that firearm if such a scenario were come to pass.
