Dean Kamen, the guy who invented the Segway, also created the IBOT, a wheelchair that can climb stairs and rise up to put disabled people at eye level of standing people. It's a pretty amazing invention. Did I mention that it can hold up to 250 pounds?
Later in the article the guy mentions the creation of a Do-Not-Email registry. This doesn't strike me as a very good idea. What's he propose doing about every other country in the world? Total blacklists? An international spam police squad? How would one enforce the email tax idea, too?
How very true. 7 years ago, the 1.5 Mbps connections that are commonplace today even in home cable modems seemed ludicrous for anything residential. By 2010, will 100 Mbps really seem all that fast? Granted, that's a pretty damn high increase relative to today, but will it really seem all that fast by then?
Why, yes, a 5 year old Mac can certainly run OS X. Right now I'm using Jaguar on a beige G3 from 1997, and it's perfectly acceptable. It's not the fastest machine ever, sure, but it gets the job done.
...is that HP's entering the business. They're not creating anything new on their own: instead, they've decided to brand an existing product. Yawn.
Sheesh, you'd think that if they were going to copy Apple they could at least spell it right. I mean, Peter Appl? Come on!
Would a 100px tall strip of the image make you happy?
No, this is a euphemism.
I second that...
0sil8 did this once.

Well, that's probably a more reliable source!
That really sucks. Seriously, what's the use of a DNC list if not all telemarketers are blocked? That kind of makes the list useless.

Actually, I have the DVD of Monty Python and the Holy Grail here, and it says "Nee".

Here's what you're looking for. It's an arm that clamps onto the desk that can hold a Cinema Display.

Now THAT would be a POS POS system.

VOIP! Kristen, you look burnt, or dead.
Downloading is not impossible (for non-encrypted tracks.)
I think it is.
It's really strange to see all this about a solar flare, when this was just published. Weird.
Yes, but what does it take to mod a Saab? I think that that would be the relevant question here.
So pan is the correct word.
The highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America.
There's a book about this kid. There's also a great Harper's article: it's here. It's a very interesting story.
