    If this actually goes to court, it'll get thrown out. What White Wolf wanted from this was publicity, and it's comparatively cheap to throw this together and ride the coattails of Sony's PR machine. Most likely it'll be settled in a bit for an undisclosed amount (read: pittance).

    run firebird with -p, and it brings up the profile manager. If you're running windows, set up a shortcut to firebird.exe" -P Username and it should run automagically as that user.

    Nope, all simply observation. And yes, I did stupidly generalize off a (relatively) small sample size. But of all the fellow college students I know living in the dorms, using Napster over our network, nobody didn't download illegal music.

    Or Brak clips. Brak is a funny man, er, alien.

    But hardly anybody used Napster for anything legitimate, and it's not like there were no competitors.

    However, Google is a valuable tool for many people, especially in regard to research. I wouldn't be too surprised to see some corporations and institutions step to the plate to defend Google.

    You didn't read the article, did you?

    They didn't run Quake benchmarks. They ran standard processor and memory benchmarks, as well as non-server tests like mpeg video and mp3 encoding. They also compiled kernels. And in the conclusion they discussed stability and compatibility issues.

    So, maybe you should read before posting.

    The funnier part is that the article 1) calls Max Payne and Die Hard RPGs, and 2) says that Max Payne isn't a good vehicle for ads (despite the sheer volume in the game).
