"In related news, our source also revealed that Sony is currently leaning towards a price point of $249-299 in the US..."
If Nintendo can beat this price, I don't think Sony has a chance at getting the handheld market. I personally wouldn't want to pay that much for just a handheld.
1. Get and compile Mono (emerge mono for those of you with Gentoo).
2. In the command line, type: mcs DeDRMS.cs
3. Then type: mono DeDRMS.exe
There ya go!
The Minnesota researchers envision people buying ethanol to power the small fuel cell in their basements. The cell could produce 1 kilowatt of power, nearly enough for an average home.
But not anywhere close enough for your average Slashdot user.
Seems to be a webcam up on the same site that hosts the worm. What worm maker would link to a site that hosts their webcam as well? I guess it shows that some people are really that stupid.
Why Wal-Mart, why? Isn't the industry flooded enough as is? Although Wal-Mart does make enough to offset the losses it will incur with the music service (as all music services do), its just another iTMS wannabe.
Let me get this straight....they were sued for having a monopoly, yet now are accusing Apple, with a market share from 4% to 5% of being a monopoly in the music service?
Mr.Gates, the people have spoken, with 1 million songs downloaded from iTMS in 3.5 days, and they don't want your crap for "standards".
even if DRM was implemented, many broadband users would probably cancel their service. In the end, the broadband companies would just blame it on piracy, taking us back to the original problem.
If this is going to be targeting the broadband users, then why don't they use a better codec? I know I'm burning karma here, but I'd rather see the movies in mpeg4 or divx form.
When talking about a P2P application, who is the one to blame for the piracy? The programmers of the P2P app, or the people who use the application for piracy?
If I wanted to increase my profit margins, what is a better way than to reduce my cost. Remove the high-paying jobs here in the good ol' US of A, and put minimum wage overseas workers in their place. BOOM! More profit!
When the hacker breaks into the notification server?
Even if they didn't steal any information (other than some emails on the server) they could scare the living crap out of alot of people....like a BIG practical joke.
Then the company would have to send out another email via the notification system to their customers....this ought to be interesting...why trust the company that claimed it was hacked yet it wasn't?

And then all my traffic goes through our campus ISP's packet filter, reducing the speed at which I upload or download to about 1k/sec.
My campus still blocks any incoming connections to my computer, so sharing to other colleges is a moot point.

But could this simulation be used to calculate the airspeed velocity of a laden swallow?
African or European?

At least Clinton wasn't gun-ho about taking our rights away.

How can this system compensate for the different dialects of all of the different languages?

You can't have your cake and eat it too.

getting desperate there RIAA?
Oh well...sue away...eventually you won't have enough money to continue this insane amount of suing you seem to be so intent on doing.
The RIAA appealed that decision. Expect it to be reversed soon.

What is your definition of the term "Fair Use" in regard to any software or music we buy?

If you want a simpler answer: Greed.
Want to build a giant white Wookie, and name him Abominable? Knock yourself out.
Are we trying to compensate for something here?
When the government fears the people, its democracy.
When the people fear the government, its tyrrany.
