you can see the night and day diffrence HDR makes by loading up farcry 1.31 and entering the HDR lighting command in the console with a geforce 6 series card. also you can google for screenshots
right now im STILL stuck with a MSFT intellimouse optical (the first unihand 5 button optical mouse released) im SO SICK OF THIS i understand the need for a comfy right handed mouse for right handed people and i dont expect them to set up a production line for lefties but a slightly lower end (ie non ergo for right hand) corded or cordless ver would be great i want a new mouse why do they ignore 25% of us!
in soulcalibur 1 im pretty devistating with sigfried, my advantage isnt cheese but the ablity to adapt and be willing to learn (same goes for nightmare in SC 2) if i get whomped by somthing cheesey i have been known to ask the other person to do it again so that i may pratice and find away to avoid it and resume trounceing. i have one friend that plays bloody roar 3 non stop (dont ask me why i dont get it either) and he gets mad at me when i play him because i actully circle strafe instead of trying to block/ dodge his crazy combos i get outta the way and punch him in the back of hte head =D it frustrates him to no end... quite funny really

i foronce have some insight on this matter! i recently went from a case with a couple 5700 rpm 80x80x38 mm fans that sounded like a jet turbine to a watercooling system.... i also have adjustable fan nobs on just about everything in the system... i can go from insane cooling to just crazy cooling and its SOOO quiet. its a bit expensive and a tad bit umm "intresting" to install but once its in and running right its VERY quiet (i even put a bigger pump in so it could be even quieter than it currently is)

serious advice here... just dive in and go for it you can thrash the game in about a week doing so at the begining of college will save you the hastle of flunking classes
im playing jetgrind radio for the dreamcast as we type this that game invented cel shading and did it right. it came out in 2000 your time line is WAY off
I use windows XP pro for many reaons A for some uncanny reaon i can get it running stable B everquest C i would dual boot but i never shut down so whats the point *shrugs* games and ease of use for me actully sure i could go to linux but why bother? when XP does everything i need it to? its not like i pay for Microsofts OS'es *wink*

agreed BG 1 and 2 were 2 slow paced for my tastes as well try Neverwinter... it is exclent it sucks you in and doesnt let go the story is exclent
