Could you explain what law in what country defines this as stealing? Speaking for myself I can assure you that becoz of their shitty marketing practices and inability to provide me with the product that is fully deliverable I am not going to wait and pay them big $$ anywayz so i might as well copy it. what are "they" losing in this picture and what am I stealing ? I already saw the movie twice, and paid for those times. I have photographic memory anyways so it doesnt actually matter for me... Oh wait! Am I stealing anywayz becoz of my memory ? Maybe I shouldnt advertize that publicly.

Umm.. Why not chemically, like buprenorphine for example: it blocks 3 out of 4 opioid reseptor types in human CNS and acts only on 1 of the 4 types. One is enough to relieve the symptoms of heroine addiction. If you have taken buprenorphine and you take heroine or any other opiate right after that it has no effects what so ever..
So its not making it actually impossible for one to take heroin but you wont feel any craving for that if you are on buprenorphine and you feel only that you are wasting your drugmoneys if you do so.

Umm.. yeah.. cool.. so why didnt they ? What does this have to do with spying ? I mean.. its your fathers phone and all? How is this kind of tracking morally or legally more questionable than following them with civilian car loaded with police officers ?

Different thing would be then if your phone had been tapped all the time already. That wouldnt have helped catching those guys a single bit.

"Good guys" in this case probably had the ability to start tracking your phone and bad guys really fast after they are informed and the location data before they are informed can usually be retrieved from logs of the gsm-network

Works at least here in Soviet Finland, but hey mostly use it for tracking down pot traders. Finland has one the highest rate of drug arrests per 1000 inhabitants in europe.
