I disagree. I would take 100K to do something I hated because 20K puts you BELOW the poverty line meaning that you can't afford to do anything in your spare time. I'll take the cash thanks.
Yeah, but All "Good Catholics" won't go to the movie becasue the church tells them not to, and everyone else is going to hell anyway so the Catholics will just laugh at the poor sinner......
Actually there are "legaly sanctioned repercussions" for jurors; they can be held in contempt of court. This is very rare but it has heppened before, i'm not sure if it has ever happened due to them not ruleing the way the judge wants, but there are some creative judges out there would would probably give it a try.
Or you'll realize that there are *gasp* more importatnt things to do with that $50 like putting gas in the car so you can go to work and earn more gas money...to be used getting to work...HEY something's just not right here!
Also figure the 10,000 screaming fans at a concert each paying $45 - $200 a pop, buying t-shirts at $25 a pop, and poserts at $25 each and tell me how CD's which go into make those artists that popular are really wothj $15 each. If I could buy more CDs with my moeny I might actually find a few more current bands that I really like and want to go to a concert to hear live.
If the police did this it would probably be rule entrapment. There are some pretty strict rules that must be followed durring an investigation. This would be like a cop going to a person on the street saying "Come here and buy drugs from this drug dealer while I watch the door". Since the cop brough up the drugs first, it's entrapment.....
Ok, take off the tinfoil hat and realize that NONE of this took places outside of the US. They DID hire a US contractor (actually a university) with hired a US subcontractor, who hired a US subcontractor. The guys lived in Nowhere, NY and Nowere, NJ!
Or alsmost as good.....In Ice Station Zebra they show a couple of guys opening up/looking into the nuclear reactior..."OOOOO, look at the prety lights!":)
Well my 2 car lengths is fine on the road I communte on where the speed limit is 40 mph. Again I will point out that i'm not saying that people should tailgate. My original comment was to a person who complained about people not leaving enough space so that they can check their blind spot easily. My statment was (and still is) that sometimes it's very hard to leave that much space, because people will keep "filling in" that space. My solution when people fill in like that it to try and back off, but often times before I am even back 2 car lengths someone else has gone ahead of me (usually from a lane that's going the same speed as the lane I'm in). I'm not (and have not) said that it's a race, that i'm trying to keep people out or even that I mind letting them in. I have ben pointing out that sometimes that gap can be hard to leave because you find yourself constantly breaking to leave that gap. *Why am I arguing with an AC who assumes that we all drive as baldy as he(she?) does?*
Ok so it doesn't happen on the roads you drive on, but where I drive it happens A LOT. In my 45 min commute I have counted being cut off suddenly 20 times on average days. Also I didn't say that I try and keep them out, just that I find it very difficult to keep 2-3 car lengths between me and the car in front of me, because 2 or 3 cars will merge in to take that space up. I NEVER said or even impiled that I would speed up to keep someone out. I know it a pain to read the aricles, but you could at least read my comment before replying to things I didn't say or even imply.
I don't care that much, but it does make leaving a "safe distance" between me and the car in front difficult.
And thereby leaving room for the guy in the next lane to cut in (for what ever reason) and causing you to now be rinding his tail. You back off and someone else will cut it. I don't mind letting them in but it makes it impossible to leave a whole lot of extra room!
If you read the artice you would see like one case where a competitor spent time clicking on the ad. This can blow though the daily $ limit and in a short period and keep most searchers from ever seeing that ad.
I agree, but had it been a hardware issue having the rovers identical might not have been such a good plan. As it's a software issue it's fixable from remote which is a Good Thing!
Nah, just stock up the weapons on the dark side and then rotate the moon! :)
No No No. It's M.A.N.T.I.S. Now we just need the flying Chevy Nova!

Yeah, but it's more fun for use to watch the sever implode.....
Not to mention he DIDN'T remove the watermark, that's how he got busted!
Hey it's Howard Dean! :)

It exploits the ever popular "Error Between Keyboard and Chair" bug. :)
I don't know about you but I would take the job just because of the "might get sent up on a test rocket" clause!

Yeah, and I'm sure when they did the seach for him they didn't have a second or third choice all ready to go.....

So I can spend 40 seconds reading the radar display rather then 2 to check my blind spot....?
Shields? WHo need Shields? I've got evasive manuvers to avoid your weapons!

Nope, then we will spend all that money against flying cars becuase of all the additional blind spots!
Then HP can make printers that won't print green, red, blue or yellow correctly. :)
