Microsoft doesn't hold the patent, they have an earlier patent filing but the patent has not been granted. Microsoft does not have the right to charge Apple a licence fee for each iPod sold.
The US Patent Office has ruled that Microsoft has the right to charge competitors a licence fee for each iPod sold.
I know there was a denial of a patent but when did the Patent Office say Apple needs to pay a license fee? Sounds like crappy reporting using speculation rather than facts.
"Yea, but can those cars only drive on 5% of the roads in the land?"
I thought the 5% represents the Mac's market share. That is a messed up analogy.
How does market share limit how I use my Mac? I can surf the web, play music, check emails, use a spreadsheet, send IMs - pretty much the same stuff as a Windows or Linux user.

Let's see a 512MB Pro Duo Memory stick can be bought for $75 or less (about the cost of 1 and a half PSP games).
I converted a 22 minute episode of The Daily Show to PSP format MP4 using ffmpegx (Mac OS X). The file size was less than 50 MB. This works out great for my 25 minute bus ride to work.
One possible characteristic not mentioned in TFA was: People who role-play might be more inclined to game the system - definitely not a desirable personality trait to have in personnel deployed in sensitive positions.
How do you game the system in D&D? Shaved dice? Counterfeit hit charts?
Also, a 1 percent tax eventually becomes a 2 percent tax eventually becomes a 3 percent tax eventually becomes a 4 percent tax eventually becomes a 5 percent tax.........
Thanks for the great tip! Works much better than running it over with an aeroplane.
I am waiting for someone to tell me that these iBooks are overpriced and they can get a Dell laptop for $40.

Sky is wrong.
That's like someone patenting the George Foreman grill after buying it on a home shopping channel.
Actually - has been since Gerald Ford stumbled and tripped the halls of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
This story is not fully cooked.

Have you seen pictures from his King Kong blog? The man is wasting away!
There is also a book by the eye doctor named William Bates...
As a prosperous young man, Dr. Bates was referred by his staff as Master Bates.
Oh my god! They killed Spock!
You bastards!
A good fart joke will re-energize the Star Trek franchise.
Mark Furman?

Buy a Mac mini and VPN to it.

Does anyone need 12,000 fps for Star Wars Republic Commando?

We can combine two crappy Stallone movies into a single sequal. Judge Dredd meets Over The Top.
Brings up a good question. Does it come with an FM tuner?
Actually iPods start at $199 if you want a display. The iPod also has 4 gigs vs. Sony's 1 gig.
Or, get a Sony flash player with a screen for half the cost of an iPod. Or is that forbidden?
Article reads:The 1Gb model will still cost £200 compared to Apple's iPod Shuffle at £99.
Using that Bush "Social Security" math?
