    To continue on DU..... places where the US have used DU shells are now contaminated with long-lasting radioactivity, and vehicles attacked with these shells show very high levels of radioactivity.... these things are monsters and unnessesary, I've worked with people trying to stop their use, but there seems to be a deaf ear listening.

    Uh, what is the point of a 3d rendered navigation system? Unless it's doing a better job than my eyes, I don't see the use at all.

    FINALLY I can get my 700mb copy of the DAY AFTER TOMORROW in NIGHT VISION... does this mean I can watch the movie in pitch black and it will be all green and cool and stuff?

    This is a dream come true, what a way to save $6 that's for sure.

    Why even bother with any of these music services when allofmp3.com still exists and accepts paypal? Almost any music i want, in any bitrate i want, in any format i want (sometimes even lossless) With a great download manager that sorts my mp3s perfectly... all for what, .60c an album in 160kbps ogg?

    Probably not legal in the US, but the russian government fully backs it, and with it accepting paypal to charge an account, I'm a happy customer.

    How will this impact iTunes sales? the 99c song pricepoint was PERFECT, people seeing that $$$ by $1.26 = D: face ... for an mp3 they could download from the local USENET server..

    but at 99c, it's like.. "Hey, I don't have to go to the trouble of finding it for under a buck" doesn't work too well after, i am thinking

    I've heard this before on the John Walsh show i was supposed to be a part of... ended up not accepting the offer to go to NY and over-slept my live chat with john walsh for the show.. besides the point, some lady on said show called IRC the "Dark Underbelly of the Internet"...."It's where pedophiles give lessons to luer children" And those are real quotes! Real Stream of said show Here I'm the "Oea" mentioned in the show... long story, but weird indeed.

    Instead of putting it on cellphones, why don't they focus on a consumer-price oriented portable DVD player with, let's say, a satellite TV reciever on it? I love DirecTV and, if a device like this was affordable (Considering.. i'm thinking around $500) better yet... when's the DirecTV Car satellite coming? Big SUVs with CNN playing in the back... ahh

    Technology is great.... but can't they actually come up with something USEFUL instead of trying to sell on the 'Ohhh, ahhh' factor?

    There are already ways to run Linux on a windows machine, and visa versa.. (VMware comes to mind)

    And with todays already beefy processors, it runs pretty good, albeit not perfectly..

    It seems this would only impact the share of people who are already using VMware to do this sort of thing..

    De Beers has been trying to 'educate' the diamond masses about these 'heretic' stones, but eventually, this will bankrupt them

    Now, as for the RIAA, CD-Rs and file-sharing won't kill the music industry. I wouldn't even expect a drop in sale-price, just more and more bureaucratic nonsense.
