I couldn't even think of beating Jaquio on the console. I had to wait 'til the magic of emulators and save states to beat him. I had to slow it down to like 1/4 the speed and repeatedly save when I hit and restore when I got hit to even think of winning. It still required alot of work even then. I also agree with Mother Brain in Metroid was pretty hard. Just staying on the ledge to launch missles without being in the lava too long isn't easy.
First "the world is not fair" is not a good reason. If it isn't fair then try to fix it. Second I am for massive inheiritence because it isn't fair, sorry, that only children of rich families get any money. Assuming the daughters didn't help with the business, if they did they they get some of it, why should they suddenly get money without doing anything? They aren't the ones who worked hard to earn they're worth. Finally about the statement "paying $400k in taxes for what was already in their family." Why not change it to "paying $400k in taxes for what was already in their country," and then see how you like it. Family isn't everything you know.
I was hoping that would give me info but alas I need to register and login. Can you give the gist of it here? It does look like an interesting site anyways though.
That link doesn't work anymore. Appearently the search is only kept for a limited time. It sound's like a good idea though. What terms did you search for on LOC?
You don't care what I say but there's more to gaming than just online versions. I play many games none of which are against other people. I didn't read the arcticle, who does, but all games should be included from adventure to everquest. That second part is probably true. I am a "stay at home" type, being unemployed, and would answer surveys but I am male.
Some penguins even live as far north as 0 degrees. That's right on the equator. 1 species of penguin live on the Galapagos Islands; which for your trivia pleasure lies at almost exactly 0N, 30W.
Since artificial diamonds are so cheap does anybody know any places to buy them? And I heard once that you could have large things like windows such as those from deep-sea submersibles made entirely out of artificial diamonds. Are those buyable too for cheap?
What about Custer's Revenge? Doesn't that inflict pain on people. I haven't played it but it seems to be against the "but you couldn't do violence against a human" rule. That rule doesn't seem to apply to aliens and monsters as well. Does Atari have some bias against them?
I do agree that modern games have less gameplay and more graphics especially violence than earlier in games' life.
As many know the US one has certain frequencies blocked while the non-US one doesn't. Is it legal to mail it to a P.O. box, or equivalent, in Canada and carry it over the border to the U.S.? I would assume so since older ones without the blocking are legal.
I drop the required amount of a ticket, not actually me since I'm too old, on the counter but they don't give me a ticket. What about that, which is really what I meant. Of course I don't mean to sneak in. Are you saying it's discrimination instead of the state allowing ratings?
Yes it's voluntary but if a minor tries to see a rated 'r' movie they won't let him. And the theater has the force of the state to back them up when they kick the minor out.
"However, I don't want public libraries to give access to pro-republican sites. Just like I don't want their magazine sections to carry Independent Republican or whatever republican magazines there are. To me the answer seems simple. All web sites and web pages should have a self assigned ratings for political content. Like Rep, Dem, Gre, or whatever system seems reasonable."
The problem with filtering is that people who don't mind content like that get shafted. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it is bad. To quote Voltair "I may not agree with you", i.e. I hate adult content, "but I will fight to the death your right to not have it filtered." Well paraphrased somewhat

I saw on the CNBC channel bottom blurb about 52 states' attorneys general doing something or another. I forget what it was but I want to know what the 2 new states that were added were.
I tried googling it, hehe, and found nothing.
That's the problem with the Simpsons. You never know when something is real. Of course it's not real that it would pop back to a spheroid shape. But I think even in the show it cost 10,000 Yen.
How about we include in the limitation for IP that they must make money every month or they fall into the public domain. Then at least all those "prevention" patents and old copyrights will become public.

Then instead of giving 10 billion in cash away he can give 10 billion in stocks away. Most of the people would keep it I think.

Yep that was a previous slashdot story at Spidergoats

Hey I only have 2 parents, 2 grandparents, 2 great grandparents... Don't discriminate against us yokels.

I was hoping they'd tell us what the slot did. I haven't seen anything that could use it.
Not in England. There it's 70,000 trillion. They only increase from million to billion, etc al, every 1,000,000.

I must be outdated or something but what is Halon. I can only guess that it contains halogens. If so wouldn't it be reactive?

What about the barb wire tattoo? Is this artistic?

So you're comparing Classical music to Grand Theft Auto and Rock to Tetris. I never thought of Grand Theft Auto as a "clasical" game.
So if rats can test on each other why can't we?
1.44 songs per second. Is that like 2 songs per second squared?
