It is much more likely that AI will be used to eliminate skipping, and force one to watch the ad before it would progress to the wanted content.

  2. Maybe not, supposedly this deal was a big issue in the Wisconsin gubernatorial election this year. So we will find out soon whether or not they keep the same bums in. The current governor was the one who really pushed the deal through.

Scott Walker has been officially tagged and bagged. https://www.kare11.com/article...

Mmmm... Jessica Chastain. I'd have to own an Apple product first, unfortunately.

I'd love to have something like this for dealing with oncoming cars with the super-bright headlights. I find myself putting on my sunglasses just so I'm not blinded by them. I figure it's better to see less light overall instead of nothing due to the glare. Something that could let me see everything else in normal light but would dim headlights in view would be superb.

Why is that so many drivers not only drive with their lights but also with their fog lamps on? They are not going to make you see any better, but they sure do a better job of blinding oncoming drivers!

  11. If Disney's track record with Pixar and Marvel are any indication, they seem to have a "hands off" approach with the movie studios. So any blame for "bad" Star Wars movies are to stay with Lucasfilm.

I enjoyed TLJ; wasn't the greatest movie I've ever watched, but I tend to be pretty forgiving of scifi as long as things don't get TOO unbelievable. Don't get me wrong, TLJ had some serious flaws, but nothing I couldn't ignore.

  13. Amazon doesn't care if you don't steal because you are honest or if you don't steal because you know you will get caught.

What got Ventura elected was that his opponents were both terrible. I've never liked Norm Coleman, and Skip Humphrey was a joke. The die-hards in the GOP and the DFL both voted for their guy, and anyone independent voted for Ventura. From what I remember it was mostly a three way split, with Jesse narrowly taking the win.

He might be a nut, but he was a damn side better governor than the idiot who succeeded him.
