Where you are a glorified, certified, educated janitor.
Hell even some of our janitors are treated better. Honestly the best way to go about it is just keep doing your job and try to make friends with the people you are working with. Eventually they will come to treat you as equals, but it will take time and not everyone will.
Really? I have had no issues on 300 mhz G3s and Tiger. The key is memory though, if you only upgrade to the minimum it can be slow.
It needs at least 1 ghz to run good, but it WILL run at a decent clip for web/wp.
agreed. Apple always manages to break it too with OS X. from 10.1 to 10.4 the OS notably improved in speed on even older equipment each time it upgraded, even on older PPC G3 and G4 machines.
While Jobs is certainly not technical minded, in terms of design he HAS been the main patent holder, and main developer on a lot of items. The iMac g4 in particular that the article cites was almost ALL Jobs, it was well known in the company he spend months working on the arm before handing it off to Ives and the Engineers to test and finalize.
Is colleges think so elitist sometimes that they look down on even teaching people how to TEACH people how to do trades. My college (Montclair State University) had one of the oldest tech-ed/vocational-ed programs in the country when I joined. The president erased the ENTIRE program and created a "Fine Arts Masters" program, breaking up our shops and labs into mini rooms that each FAM student got full use of, shunting tens of thousands of dollars of wood and metal shop equipment into those labs for FINE ARTS use only, most of which we as a department had paid for ourselves though the auto shop the school closed on us 2 years before.
And what was their justification? Well NJ that year had changed the wording of the standardized curriculum from Fine AND Vocation arts to Fine OR Vocation arts, and since Fine arts was easier to teach in high school, there was no need for vocation arts anymore. The other justification? The US is not a industrial nation anymore so there is no need to teach kids how to work that type of equipment or in those trades. This was 2002 BTW.
Oh and that curriculum change? The next year NJ changed it back, making only one out of ALL of its state schools, 3 of which had programs that dated back around of even before WWI capable of churning out teachers who can actually teach Tech Ed. Now NJ has to back door most of its vocation teachers and even then, nearly half the jobs are being left unfilled with more retiring every day.
According to all the trades I have been reading, that's a disapointing start, opening lower than T3. They lowered T4s expected weekend total because of it in fact from 80 million (in line with Star Trek) down to roughly 60-65.
Just got the game this week.... but really could they FIX the other three packs on the 360 too? The Pitt lags the freaking hell out of my trips into Downtown, almost to the point its impossible to play.
except its not, its been well known for 6 years that there was a bunker there. The BBC even reported on its construction and they had to pay damaged for blasting. In fact in all honesty pretty much everyone, even the badguys know there are bunkers under the residence of major staff members. The secret is how to get to them what kind of security they have, not that they exist.
The eMate from apple could be classified as a netbook, since it did have email and browsing capabilities and has even been hacked to use 802.11b these days on top of its cat-5 and modem abilities. It was after all a low power computer based off the Newton.
First of all I would HARDLY call anyone in business smart. They know how to bullshit, know how to scam, but having worked in business no one at the top is ANY smarter than your common worker, they just are more privileged. And second, they dont HAVE US operations, so you basically ruined your point. They are working in this county but their "operations" are on paper, someplace else, thus they dont pay a lick of taxes the rest of us (including small business) have to pay. So if they leave who GIVES A RATS ASS, they are getting tax benefits and government money left and right while giving back nothing to the US.
1 is easy. Unless there is a profit involved, private industry will NEVER get involved. Thats why other nations are blowing us out of the water in innovation right now, because their governments fund some or all of the research. But even in private sector, its next to impossible to show that the ends justify the means, so your second argument is totally bullshit.
...and there goes the joke right over your head... maybe you can save it? Its still good Its still good.... Nope as Bart says later, its gone. You sir ruined the joke...
Because its not about the money when it comes to appeal. The case the prosecution made was SO full of holes, and missteps that its amazing the whole thing didn't get thrown out to begin with. They only need to find one decent judge who will end up throwing out the whole thing based solely on the fact their findings makes the entire internet illegal. They basically made google illegal with this judgement!
Apple trained me on not only their products but how to make them work in Unix and Windows environments to the point of explicit Active Directory and LDAP integration a couple of months ago despite having their own directory service called Open Directory (which is basically LDAPv3).
oh no no these days the party is on the boat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOvaCV6uQp8

Except from what I am hearing, this movie is JUST as bad if not worse that T3. McG was too busy special effecting it up to forget a plot I heard.
um yes, they should. Thats the WHOLE POINT of a beta, that you are testing it in a real world, uncontrolled environment with all the risks it entails.

from what I can tell, they are going to cost 40 dollars each, same cost as getting them from the downloader.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/2559617.stm Seems the BBC revealed the "secret" location long before Biden. Yet another Fox news lets make a story out of nothing event.

They still do carry hentai titles, just not straight porn nor do they carry even the softcore joke titles like Bare Witch and the like.
probably just using the dev tools, and the iPod touch/phone imaging tool they provide us for schools.

Um no, its still IE Windows update. Its just a fancy gui over it, but it is STILL IE at its core.

And they did it for FREE to boot
Website maintainer after being /.ed would be #8
and what is scary is... your right there ARE people who are farther right of FOX.
yep especially since Paramount announced Monday it was going to be doing the sequel.
