They might be theives, but you cant STEAL with a iPod, you need a computer to do it... and since most iPod users are PC users.... that would mean it was the computers using HIS operating system who stole said music...
Hence PC users are Thieves.....
WOW look at that you can spin the FUD two ways here... Why hasnt this guy died of a exploding heart as he was jumping up and down like a overweight gorrila yet????
4 days later, the problem was finally solved... seems it was a routing issue with how Optimum Online routed the Playonline signal the entire time....
Bonus to the fix, they now fixed the download speed for the network as well which was a crawl for most people before
The port 25 rumor was just that OO has had it shut for over a month already, talking to both sides they BOTH agree it isnt that port. There are a lot of dumbass hax0r want to be's posting on Alla right now and none of them have a remote clue as to what its used for.
There is some idea floating around it could be modem related, specifically there is a running trend going that its older motorola and non-motorola modems not able to connect, surfboard modems after a certain model number (or people who used the buisness connect option which is 100 dollars a month) havent had a problem and can get and stay in
as for some other facts, Optimum online is not completely a ISP provider, they send some of their stuff out to other ISP's, They are also a small cable provider, providing for the NE tri-state Area, but only parts of it (Comcast is the other provider and no one has had problems with them or any others and conectivity) There where no software updates to FFXI recently to have changed anything square was using, but I dont know on the OO end if they did any server/firmware updating between monday and tuesday night.
and yes I know its quite funny how much people are bugging out. I dont use OO but my girlfriend does and shes more pissed that shes paying 30 dollars a month of ISP and 13 dollars a month on the game +2 characters and no one is giving her info,
Still the question must be asked, when companies get into a fight like this, what options do customers really have?
they removed that on the previous model too not that it woul have helped, the port was really only designed to use the firewire networking protocals and couldnt be used to hook a hard drive up.
Even if it could you would need a external power source since it was a 4 pin port
a) not everyone has those problems, MY PS2 DVD drive lasted almost 4 years before it needed the optics replaced.
b) Sony still honors the DVD drive LONG after they say they do. Not only that but they will replace it no questions asked even if you opened the case. Any simple google search would turn up hundereds of reports of people getting replacement DVD drive optics for just the shipping from Sony, Im certainly not a sony fan, but for this I applaud them for doing, even if they d keep very secret about doing it. Heck they have even sent me replacement Network/Hard drive/DVD rom disks for free NO SHIPPING ASKED. There is a forum you fill out on their site and they send it as soon as they can.
iuts been out for over 6 months on the PS2 and over a year on the PC in NA. I am having a hard time seeing the PSTwo not having a hard drive myself cause it really is required for FFXI and is a big help playing SoCom II (though you dont need it to play that game)
Somehow, I think there is a smalled HD already built into the thing... a 40 gig laptop hard drive wouldnt be that expensive these days if you bought on bulk...and knowing how big the middle revision PS2 motherboard is, They would easily have the room if they did remove the power supply to outside the case.
In any case you couldnt use the PS2 hard drive anyway as it uses the network adapter that the PSTwo doesnt use.
yeah they will... if I had known it I woulndt have bought my second one after my original one died.. but for some reason they continue to support the DVD-Rom long after the warrentee
they wouldnt take the drive out... too many games are being developed to use it in japan... as it is both FFXI and SoCom2 use it. Likewise FFXI here can only be bought WITH the HD... they would have to make a disk only version for the PS2 which I doubt they would do here.
There is so much space in the case though that Im sure they could make it smaller and still keep a standard drive
THANK YOU exactly what I was going to say... A lot of artists ammend their work later, dont go saying that they dont... the idea that they dont is a new thing
then there was never a port period I guess...
sad too while it was really a copy of I and II it was the first one to get all the elements together into one game what we would consider a FF game having
The only FF game not ported to the PS is FFIII and its doubtful it ever will be since it wasnt ported in Japan either though there is a wonderswan version
ahh but you really cant add 11 to this list since being a mmorpg its sales where bound to be lower than the others..
which is sad since once you get to the story later into the game it really is a GREAT story that doesnt end
here is my thing... what is the VAT?
If its a sales tax, other than the exchange rate being weird... I dont understand why its a problem, we have to pay taxes too so.99 never really =.99 here, its more like a dollar annd change.
But from my understanding your inflation rate is insain... A lot of my friends and even my sister complained about it last time they where there how 100 our dollars barely got you anything. So maybe I would look into why the inflation rate is so bad before I would blame a outside group.
no in this case the parent is right... IF you know the codes to get in, you can turn these features on (just forget it if your phone breaks)
Its not a firmware, its special carreer codes that shut these features off. Having talked to motorola about my new V60s that verizon blocks downloads from I was told by there tech guy this is the case and he would get into trouble if he let me know the codes.
Now there is supposedly a way to get around this that the guys who make Ringtone Composer found and are beta testing... so there is hope yet for Verizon phones
same here friend... i wasnt looking into buy the game, having played UO and at the time playing Lineage after having a hell of a time in EQ and not liking it much at all..... but then my GF got it and she couldnt be pulled away from it and bought it for me....
4 months later and i own the Logitech netplay, a wireless adapter, and live in Vana Diel.... the game is CRACK man its CRACK
YOUR AN IDIOT they didnt change any ports why dont you call SE and Optimum Online before you make falce accusations
It was infact a issue with a bad router between the two which was why some people could get on, and why they couldnt find the problem.
get the facts before you post something
Hence PC users are Thieves.....

nope you dont, they confirmed it didnt as did playonline
port 25 has been blocked for a month no interuptions

it was a disk drive.... the Famcom used floppys too and they had planned to do the same for the U version but it never happened
Even if it could you would need a external power source since it was a 4 pin port

BOOOO TMP was a great sci fi movie... it was just not heavy on the action.
Jabba looks MUCH better in the first one
the image is cleaned up even more
the rotoscoping effects on the lightsabers are cleaned up and made to look like the current sabers
now Han and Geedo shoot at the same time
biggest change, now its Hayden as Anikan at the end ghost scene
it does run in Vitual PC, and depending on your system runs VERY well, beats out Everquest in my book too, much better graphically and story wise
Apparently since only 50 replys so far and last I looked there where over 300 with the Apple one...

Hey it took Joss Whedon 3 to finish Fray.... i think it goes along with people who do TV and who write comics
