no infact they are only mentioned once or twice in all of the movies, and infact ONLY make a cameo as the Clerks characters in Strikes Back... They played other characters in other movies though

no they where all in the same universe, but not sequals per se. Clerks always advertised a clerks two... as did Mallrats advertise Dogma as its sequal (which infact it wasnt, chaising amy cam after) what it boiled down to was Smith wrote a lot of the screenplays at the same time, but had to build up a rep to put out the one he really wanted to (Dogma) due to its religious nature

Actually if you knew ANYTHING.... the movie is more something for Jay.... Smith promiced him one last Jay and Silent Bob movie if he cleaned up his act and straightened up... a year later, hes delivering. Hes not really doing it for the money (the guy is loaded you know, not just cause of his moives, but from his stores and from his comic books) hes doing it more for himself, Jay, and the other original players who are all on board to do it.... Hes ALSO been dropping hints about it for over a year now, ever since the 10th aniversary edition of Clerks was planned.... so hes not just jumping into this.

Well you caught me, I typed too fast and its actually .001 which is low, but considering there are well over 2 million of the things sold NOT counting mini's a logical number... as for where this data came from, it was from the court documents pertaining to the lawsuit filed by iPod users who said the battery life was too short. Im sure the number may be higher, but the truth is that it was a VERY small percentage of the iPods that had a problem.... not nearly as large as some people like to beleive..

  6. Re:Year of the Portable my butt on PowerBook G4 Battery Recall · · Score: 2, Interesting

Actually the real data I can find has showed that .0001% of iPod owners actually had a faulty battery if you find the numbers in the class action lawsuit to be true.... while its not a true percentage since there might be a few who have never heard of the problem, I can not find a true percentage though and usually if its that big of a problem you would be garenteed to find statistics showing it. SO if you can find any real statistics I commend you, but if you comment was just to troll well your an idiot since a good troll would have posted facts to back it up.

eh All of the laptop makers have had battery problems... there was once YEARS ago a problem with the old laptop batterys exploding though contrary to popular fiction, no ever did make it out to the public.

And as for the iPod battery... mine is STILL going strong, and I have a 1st gen. That battery problem was SO blown out of proportion it isnt even funny and those "brothers" ended up looking like fools in the end.

But apple isnt the only group to have battery problems so why beat up on them.

think your confusing Open Source with DRM... likewise the AE is a peice of hardware, its not the software running the computer its the embeded software in the AE which probably isnt open for obvious reasons of securiity for not just music but the network as a whole.

Now his beef is that he's a self proclaimed crusader against DRM....

Is he right? well when it was DVD coding yeah I thought he was but now I think hes just taking it too far. He's kinda making the RIAA and MPAA's case that any digital media is unsafe for them without even thinking about it, giving them the excuse they need to lock it down.

What has to happen is the law has to be changed to giving you exclusive rights to a domain name, therfore problems like this (of which Katie isnt the only person who has been bossed around by big companies) wont happen. This isnt like squatting... they are blaintent trying to steal her domain by making her life as misserable as possible.

Sun isnt dead... its a nitch product like Apple is. For those sys admins who dont know better there is always Windows... but for people who actually care about getting something done right, and having up time measured in months or years there are the other OS's out there...

Will sun ever blow by Microsoft, no, but will it still be used? Well there is a story here about emulating 20 - 30 year old computer systems so you can bet your ass people will use it for years to come.

Apparently Apple is doing this too and for both I give congrats.... they are making it so Linux is more a flavor with no restrictions than right now where for some things you have to go with one or the other... I loved Mortal Kombat... it was bad, but it really was tame compaired to this game... the violence presented in it was like KillBill.... it had pretty blood, it was comical since i have yet to see someone rip a spine out with their bare hands...

Manhunt disturbs me like that Nicholas Cage movie with the snuff film disturbed me... yeah the storyline might say you have to kill or be killed... but its killing for killings sake. And instead of going Doom or even Wolfenstien, they make it EXTREAMLY realistic... like they studied how people die when these things are done to them....

I liked the old GTA (not thrilled with the newer ones) but this game was just sick... and worse its VERY easy for little kids to get their hands on it, even with the M rating. Do I think that Rockstar should be destroyed... no not really, thats stupid. Do I think this game was a VERY dumb move on their part... yeah.

What surprises me more is that this game has barely made the news while BMXXX was all over it.... its so stupid that the US STILL has problems with tits but cutting a guys throat is cool.
