    My Radeon Tyan 9000 pro runs fine, if you disable shadows check the setting.

    Diffrent low end card users have described the shadow setting as either critical or not important so I'm not sure if I should enable it but 800x600 at about 35 fps for a $80 card makes me a little reluctant to upgrade.

    To take and not give back is a crime.

    Saying that because we have freedom's you lack you can take without giving is pretty painful when there are so many aspects of life in which you ignore the needs of others (true of all people unfortunatly)...

    I don't mind if it's unconscious but when someone makes a conscious decision to take without returning anything to society it kind of makes one sad :(

    All the wealth you/we enjoy in North America comes from a huge amount of resources and increadibly low population density..

    Because of this low population density selling in bulk never really caught on and things like transportation and yes technologies which require population density are increadibly expensive and lackluster.

    Getting around in Asia is really cheap and watching 2 old women sell food to 60 people an hour at about 1/200th of their daily wage really makes your head spin...

    One wonders if immigration laws are creating stagnation sometimes.

    Perhaps we should prepare ourselves to live close together in smaller cars?

    I'm really torn on this issue on the one hand I like privacy on the web.

    On the other I would like to see people who run spamming and other illegitimate websites to be terribly molested.

    Why not some kind of commercial website whois notice related to accepting funds or displaying product for eventual sale, just because lawmakers are concerned about creating a complicated law in this case they are losing sight of some of the major freedoms they are trying to protect.

    Removable lights, windows, locks, stereos, mirrors, wheels, engines etc. Cross compatibility.

    I.E. Upgrade engine? Upgrade Headlights? Buy new body? Etc.

    Also why don't they just make the speed lane on highways 130 kmph (faster as cars become faster) and force drivers to stay at that EXACT speed. then there will be no bunching etc. If your car cannot do that deal with regular traffic.

    I'd also like to see a slowdown in car safety regulation upgrades, it's the number one reason consumers cannot stick with older model cars and designing new ones is the reason for the cost increases, the safety benefits are minimal in each new model upgrade, I'd like to see car weight maximized at approx. 750pd. Then they will be a smaller threat to pedestrians and each other.

    See paying people who already made the game is a bad system perhaps we should be putting money down against a new good game? Then we would be encouraging development.

    Right now the system involves paying for old products and a distributor needs to pay for the development of new ones, a totally terrible result.

    This part falls into a rather silly category.

    These companies are only good at competing with one another they have no interest in improving their services for the artist or the consumer. If the consumer decides to bypass a company with business practices such as this who is losing?

    Suprnova isn't hosted in the U.S. in fact the entire group of users is outside and they have access to lawyers who can tell the mpaa (and even the U.N. piracy legislation commision) to go to hell.

    They are trying to stop the really dumb users from being able to search for a file and download it easily.

    Bittorrent probably looks to most people the same as those warez sites that want you to install spyware and adware ridden crap with the tiny possibility of actually receiving a file.

    Hopefully it will take time for them to figure out how powerful this one is.

    Dude the xboxnext WILL be out first.

    Microsoft caught the entire industry napping by breaking their 5 year console cycle down to 2-3 years.

    The other console makers are complaining but once xboxnext is first to market with an ATI chipset and developers onboard I think they may be too busy running scared to try and cut a deal with the big M.

    And find a review of all the VOIP tech's so we can all get on the same network.

    Heck there are open souce versions for linux already.

    Every second we delay the phone companies are fixing to make something that should be free cost money.

    And this is a perfect app to include in linux distros.

    I just spoke with the University of Guelph resnet (I used to work there wanted job)...

    It's banned on campus here as well with no plans to remove the ban.

    When I enquired further no response was given but I was lead to believe it was a policy decision not a technical descision (security is a technical problem).

    Gave it to my little sister fixed her up for about 2 months then some neglect relegated her back to skateboarder status, it's not completely for kids but if she get's magic maybe she'll understand nano tech?
