No more trial and error for this guy. What I would do is purchase large amounts of traffic, tweak, then gradually work my way up to larger and larger numbers.
Not only does this save time, but hey, it saves money.
One event called Ribbon Climber, in which robots race up a carbon-fibre ribbon, was designed to inspire 'space elevator' technology that might one day lift satellites into orbit.
It's nice to see they added this event in to draw a little more attention to the space elevator. I personally would rather build a robot to compete in that competition than the fighting ones. It may be a little easier, plus, you're helping towards a cause that would benifit us all, not building a robot purely to smash other things (which is still pretty cool).
I'm wondering if it will get to the point when we can just buy a 'Game Card' so to speak. Somewhat like an Xbox/PS2/GC PCI/AGP card containing the console itself, otherwise our living rooms are just going to get more and more clustered. Dont get me wrong, I'm all for touchscreens, IM, etc.. but we already have most of the hardware needed for it sitting at home now.
Anyone else think pcs/consoles will ever become one? Or am I just crazy...
I dont mind the ads so much, as long as audio does not come on right away in them.
Also, these people need to understand a lot of people are going mobile now, and with b/w usage fees, people are going to be getting hefty bills from their mobile providers. Also, people with internet with very low caps pay over for usage, and probably arent expecting that the news sites they read are feeding them 2mb ads.
The public school board offers a curriculum which involves all students to have a laptop, specifically an iBook. Apparently the kids take rather well to them too. When I was speaking to one of their techs, he told me they recieve less calls for help since they've made the mac 'switch'.
I would have assumed it'd be the other way around, since the kids were already used to windows.
heh not too new.. but now i realize why so many people turn to trolling..
what in the hell is with the mods? this is seriously getting out of hand.. the article was posted yesterday people..

I'm not really into the idea of splitting up the entire net into all these tlds. I dont want my mail server being so easily identified as such.
Why is it meteors always manage to strike the most boring and barren places around?
But, it's probably for the better this way...

My boss just took the next two months off. I'd like to change my vote please.
So now I'm guessing we wait for pakistan to condemn the game..
After all, the chinese didnt like C&C Generals all that much..
Scotty at work is really going to hate me...
This will be a pretty big hit with todays audience. It's just too bad (or maybe a good thing) that it wont have the same effect as it did when it was originally aired over the radio.

Where is Pauly Shore when you need him...
The end of CRT?

There is only so much male enhancement products a man can buy.
They seem to be the only spam i've been getting lately. Maybe my wife is feeding them my email addresses...
What? End of my anonymity? But I just paid $199 for my computer to stop broadcasting an ip address!
Spam doesnt fall far from the spam tree.

So next time someone snaps my picture., my sweater will explode.
Very amusing...
You have to love the "You are here" caption on that image of earth from mars.
Who says nasa scientists dont have a sense of humor.
It's the human error factor.
Short of the software making an intelligent decision to kill, it always comes back to us.

The only health benifits I can see at my office would be for my co-workers.
Since it's their health that's in jeopardy if I dont get my coffee.
