This is a good thing, whenever someone plays catch up, they alwasy seem to develop a better product than if they were at the top. Take for example how IE6 has slowed improvements while other browsers continue to create. A little competition is a good thing.
I am not meaning to sound redundant, but isn't AAC an actual standard while WMA is propietary to XP? Why is WMA more popular by Windows users if AAC can do the same drm wise and in a majority of cases sounds better?
Will it be possible that wireless internet will become the default in the next five years over traditional phone/cable? With distances this far, would it be too hard to set it up in rural areas and provide low cost broadband?
Will we laugh at ourselves 50 years from now as we Americans do when we had the communist witch trials? Is it possible we shouldn't say that it is downloaders that is killing CD sales as it might be people have finished replacing their collections, artists are getting in general worse and more shrink-wrapped, and finally true piracy done by organized crime(ie Mafia style business)?
Why don't they just refuse to put these software titles on their computers. I feel if a company thinks it can steal your data, it shouldn't be forced upon users and potential new users.
I honestly cannot see them implementing a DRM that you hint at. If Microsoft wanted to own your computer, they could, but why would they want to? The publicity alone would put Linux OS not only into the mainstream as the best choice, but you'd probably see a lot of your non-geek friends asking for it. Would Microsoft honestly want this?
Can you honestly say that you wouldn't allow your son/daughter to see a PG13 movie? The cartoon isn't as widly distributed as a movie and thus doesn't have as much of an impact.
The 89 is speedy compared to its predecessors though. If you find yourself using an 89 and you complain it doesn't solve your integrals fast enough, you should do it by the ol' pen and pad and see which one you'd prefer.
If he does this, he'll ruin a children's classic. LOTR was okay because they were for a wider audience. However, The Hobbit is more about imagination and every child will get a different interpretation. A film puts out one interpretation thus squashing imagination.
That's true, but when you intend to release something under the GPL, you are still providing the source. I don't really care if some company takes the source then after, as long as it's there, why worry?
So are we supposed to buy every other MP3 player to make up for the minor flaws of the iPod? Every product shown has one good feature while the iPod is the best overall.
Gotta Catch em all!
If they find giant radioactive monkeys, I would hate to see one from mars with its lower acceleration of gravity!
I thought it read the Mob experiments with a supercomputer. I guess Mr. Soprano and his boys really want to be a part of the 21st century
Going out of business for over 28 years
You know they forgot to put the word gullible in the dictionary right?
How are they going to save the data if the power goes out? That's a lot of data to store on hard copies.
You'd be surprised at how it has improved my attentio... Hey this thing is a TV AND a mirror... cool.

Would this be the warm war?
I am certian the Armada notebook from compaq has a dos boot up.
But can it help me network a beowulf cluster?
Because I would hate to contract small pox just for working during a strike...

The G5 is a work of art. That'd be like you saying you want a plush 67 'vette because it's so cute and cuddly...

the best is 6881-6999 and it should be TCP. Zone Alarm Pro users, just goto firewall then customize.
For those who don't know, Asterix is a French cartoon hero. He looks like a viking.
