    Yup, that's the truth.

But to be fair, I think if DVD's are released sooner, then they should discount the film that is leased to the theaters. This would allow the threaters to have a larger take of the profits of the film. ...Which could help to lower the price of the food. ...And then theaters can improve the experience by nesting consession vendors in the theater prior to the start of the film. They could even issue something like a return ticket to let you back in and watch the movie at some other time if you enjoyed the film.

You're missing the big picture. If Nintendo undercuts the price of the market, the Xbox 360 and PS3 will be left out in the cold with their massivly expensive hardware - which inflates the cost of their titles. Nintendo doesn't only want to lower the cost of the games, making it an easier choice for the consumer to pick-up. They also want to lower the license fee to develop Nintendo Revolution titles. Which would help a developer decide where to put their next game. (Developer: "Hmm, Microsoft = $10 license, Nintendo = $5, Sony = $15? Lets write our next game for Nintendo and keep the extra money.") A developer could write the same game, and Nintendo will always be cheaper than the other consoles. Which system would the wise dollar pick?

    Hello Revolution, goodbye outdoor life!

I've always thought that previous product should be included in some form with new releases. So you don't buy a title to a game but the game and it's story line as well. Since it takes about 2 years for games to come back with a new chapter, the first title is usually out of print and hard to find in 2nd hand stores unless it was very popular. I'm guessing that this Revolution idea is exactly what I'm looking for.

I think the virtual console is an excellent idea. And I seriously can't wait to play some old NEC and Hudson Soft titles from the TurboGrafx again. MotoRoader and Bomberman '93 will rock if they can bring along the full 5 player support. I don't think any other game made today has been as fun as 5 player Bomberman. The Genisis also had some great games too, and I look forward to those.

The important thing is that the energy expended in the creation of gas can be converted into consumer goods which are purchased at a premium. If cows can produce gas (no pun intended) then a matter of discovering the best process to refine the gas would be prudent.

And every option available to that line should be available to all subscribers. It should prevent the Internet Provider from blocking certain ports or services and allow you a fair communication for your company.

Blackout Lists are a different story if you are using the ISP's servers for messages. They might still block the bad guys. But if you ran your own mail server on your leased lines you should have control on how you want to setup those items or of not at all.

  16. Backwards! MS needs to bundle Halo 2 in Vista on Halo 2 Only on Vista · · Score: 1

Microsoft NEEDS to sell Vista titles to recover its costs to develop the system. But nobody cares about Vista because there isn't anything bundled in it that is truly revolutionary. It's just a whole lot prettier than Windows XP, and that's about it. The initial hype was over some ambitious features which where rolled back when timelines and reality set in. Now that those features are nerfed, excitement has fizzled and people realize that their current OS is all ready taking them where they want to be. Why bother to upgrade?

Lets look at MS Vista's feature set from the MS web site:
User Experience: What does this really do for me? Prettier windows.
Security: Sorry, but I expect this. It's not a feature, but a mandatory item.
Search & Organization: I know where my files are. I rarely use search, and when I do some cartoon drives me nuts!
Performance: Yeah, I know. Gotta buy new hardware to use it.
Windows Backup: My excitement level just went through the roof.
Networking: It's hard to plug in a cat5 cable and use DHCP?!
Sideshow: What's this? Some laptop exclusive feature. Ho hum...
Speech Recognition: This is actually pretty cool stuff, in theory. But hardly worth the upgrade cost.
Help and Feedback: Didn't the previous versions of Windows have this?
    Windows Update: See above.
Sync Center: Ahh, Windows Briefcase makes a return!

So those are the new features included in Windows Vista are. Who's ready to buy?! Hello? Any one? Is my keyboard working?

Yeah, I didn't think any of that got any of you excited about entering the hassles of upgrading. I'm certainly still waiting for something exciting.

So now that Halo 2 has all ready recouped its development cost on the Xbox, enter Halo 2 for Vista! Why not bundle Halo 2 in their home version of Windows Vista to spark interest? I wouldn't buy Vista to play Halo 2 again. But I would buy Vista if it came with Halo 2. Anyone else think that this is a good idea?

And Sony is no longer in recognition of a high-end product in my eyes. If their high-end products are under performing as we probably both would agree, they should revamp the entire product line and focus on the low-end components first. Building the quality and dependability that consumers are looking for. Then when they establish a positive brand name again, they could go back and wow customers with a high-end product. If they take the reverse approach, it would be somewhat like Sun Ultra 20's trying to take on Dell Dimension XPS. High-end brand names become quickly forgotten to average Joe consumers who look for low prices and popularity first and foremost.
